You are probably home by now, but just so you know, there is a really great snorkeling spot out to an island, just south of Flamingo's south ridge (over the hill from where you ended the video).
@@TheDufresnes well, there is always next time. The Potrero/Flamingo/Brasilito area can be one of those places that takes some time to get the hang of what things there are to do. I hope your visit went well, rain not withstanding.
HI - what ever happened to the large condo building at the top of the rocky promontory ? We used to own the Kokomo Bar in Brasilito, back in the 1990's (heard it was demolished and is now replaced with a Chinese grocery !).
Ya or make 2 bags of popcorn instead of 1! Samara area got a lot of flooding and a bridge to nosara washed out. We live in container homes that sit above the ground, we didn't want to deal with our houses flooding in a tropical country 😉
Hey! Great videos! I just had to let you know how much confidence you gave us to make our big move! We now live in Guanacaste and have started a vlog like you guys. We would love it if you checked it out. Have a great day...maybe the sun will stay out today! Pura vida.
@@TheDufresnes We are duoUwander? Check us out. We would love to work with you sometime. Maybe compare experiences. You're move vs. Our move during COVID19 maybe...let me know if you're interested. If not, no hard feelings. We love watching your vids! 🌺
Go see it for yourself instead of relying on people to show it to you on RUclips for free. Walk the beach yourself, have your own experiences. Don't need to always see everything through others. Get out and live a little!
@@TheDufresnes I love the walk thru town videos, very informative. I noticed this area doesn't look opened up yet...no one around. Is it the same at Tamarindo? Or are the tourists beginning to arrive?
It was busier on the weekend with Costa Rica tourists, but not many international tourists. Not sure about tamarindo as we haven't been there in a while. Samara has had a few tourists and we have both of our rentals booked next week with guests from the USA
Chris, very informative, high quality and attention-getting videos. Super well done. Andy
Thanks
Love Love Love this video. Thank you soooo much
Haha well at least you do! I think people that leave thumbs down don't understand the concept of the raw walk through. Thanks for watching
If we take a cab ride from Guanacaste to flamingo beach. Do we need to rent a car to see the city of flamingo?

Yes we are and the hurricane over Nicaragua really didn't help our trip, we could only film 2 of the 5 days we were there 😔

lol
I usually go with my dad in January in the US but where you were there it is completely dead in January it is so crowed
Thanks for doing this Chris...and - the easy editing is a plus for you!
You're welcome, and I love editing so I fond these ones boring to make haha

Not sure, we've only visited for 3 days in low season.
Great Job!!! Thank You.. :-)
Thanks so much for the walk though. Headed to The Palms in Nov. I see it's close to Coco Loco!
Thanks for watching
speed 1.5-2.0 is good😁 What about Huricaine in Samara? Do you have flood?

I see why it called walk thru
Nice vide
Turn on the flip flop silencers! 😆😆😆
Haha it's on order from Amazon!
I'll have to start wearing shoes for these 😂
Haha I came here to say that the flip flops make me happy! Viva la flip flop! I found it oddly relaxing :-)
Haha soothing sounds of the tropics

couldn't tell around 1:39 if the taco place is still there.
The sign is still there but most stuff was closed this time of year
Yea it is still there as I just got back a week ago from there
Hahahaha we need sidewalks.... Typical of CR
No sidewalks...:/
Playa hermosa
Very!
everything except the beach
Why would I walk the beach for 15 minutes when we have other videos of the beach.

you have noisy shoes
They are sandals, envision its your sandals. That's the point
Very boring video 🤣
Yes it is, it's not meant to be entertaining, just to give people an idea of what to expect as far as lay out
@@TheDufresnes i loved it! good to 'see' the area again.
I'll be releasing a vlog in the area on Sunday, stay tuned 😊
