- It’s time to audit ourselves! Who is influencing you, and who and what are you influencing? Are the people you are spending the most time with, bring out the best version of you, and helping you grow as a person, as a friend, or as a partner? Are you?
These are some of the questions I have asked myself, and will continue to ask myself. I love the quote, “show me your friends and I’ll show you your future”.. it’s a powerful reminder that the people we spend the most time with, shape us, and influence us.. often without our even realising it.

Yes! Your true friends will be honest with you and want the best for you! I had to leave a friendship recently because I felt exhausted every time I interacted with her. Constantly competing with me. At some point you just accept loneliness when you are that used to feeling and being lonely and it becomes part of the “mask” you put on for people but you will never bring up or mention it. That is how it is for me. Probably not the healthiest thing. I just bottle up my everything.

I kinda understand the subtle message of this video. Probably a "better alone than in bad company", "choose your friends wisely" and all that stuff, I perfectly understand and get it. But how do you find these said quality people without putting yourself out there and eventually kissing some frogs first ? Like building intimacy and closeness takes a lot of time, especially in adulthood. It's not like genuine and sincere friendships appear at your front door and just happen like that.
I think part of it is understanding very clearly what you want. Discernment is something you develop with time and experience and the Holy Spirit. Also thinking about where you’re meeting people (where are you MORE LIKELY going to meet people with similar goals and values). And finally, I think praying over it.. asking God to send the people around you that He wants you to be around. Hope that makes sense 💕

I noticed the story bridge in the background, thats why I'm leaving a comment. I'll leave you with some insight. I don't know you. We are all here to learn our own experiences, thats all we can take when we cross over after life. Strive to be true to yourself, invite the divine into your life. The way this world is shaped, most of our energy is wasted on chasing a material way of life. True spiritual ascension is pretty much non existent in this world. The people that talk about it have maybe had a glimpse but lack rigorous discipline required for the body. To find the Tao, is very difficult, especially for westerners. Yoga the liberation of spirit into the divine takes decades and is faster with a greater number of people. Discernment and perception is the key which unlocks the power of the spirit. We never walk alone, we walk together in the divine light heading home. I wish you well on your journey.

Influences as you found they can make a profound influence to how you think and feel. Magnetic personality what type of people who get sucked into that magnetic field that's you. Robbi you control this based upon how comfortable you feel. If that person acts so your not sure about them move them to an outer ring not that close to you. Those who are very close are where you are comfortable you have most faith trust you will not be hurt by them. This is that friend who feels like a sister tell anything to and trust its between you both. Those Influences are positive make you feel good comfortable your at ease. Keep them in your 1st ring. We got a second group ok I look at you as a friend would not allow you to tell me no or rethink anything so these are those it's just ok to be around. Not to run for advice from. 3rd That outer boundary Is the OK Hi group I know you but you are not who I want closer than OK Hi category of me.
You control the boundaries the rules who goes where and why. We all need to have positive influence people to our life. Make me feel good about me my goals my thoughts my ambitions.
Negativity is a cancer it pulls you down disruption of your goals an objective the happy I was until you walked into the room. Stay away from the doom and gloom they will suck your energy and time.

The last time when I broke up, for 1 entire year, whenever I’m alone in my room, I would literally bawled my eyes out every day for hours...
Miraculously, after 1 year, I suddenly started to think less of him and I no longer was crying, I didn’t even have a new boyfriend at that time and I wasn’t even looking for a new partner, hence, as cliche as it sounds, I believe time heals...and now I can’t even be bothered if he’s married/he’s seeing someone new, not that I hate him or anything (we broke up amicably), but it’s just that I no longer feels for him...
And, trust me you’re already doing 100 times better than I did .... just don’t be too hard on yourself whenever you’re feeling vulnerable

Now im getting to know myself again and its definitely hard because im so use to the toxic texts and calls and pointless hang outs. It got to the point where i was afraid to have a clean car or look pretty or anytning good around her because she would make a toxic passive comment

I've been in a situation like that and it's very hard but an advice I can give you is that in this new season that you are in you will get to know yourself in such a special way. 7:00 I exactly am experiencing this at my new job, where I'm in my first two training weeks with 4 others who I don't really click with, but they do with each other.
They regularly make really low se*ual jokes and after just a few days they've created this negative social bubble together and don't like me being around them anymore.
Which leads me to not like being around them as well anymore, especially during the breaks.
So I bought myself a good magazine to read and my own dinner and go sit somewhere else in the breaks.
In the end it's 'just' frequencies seperating, but a bit of a bummer that they are my colleges.
During training it's more okay though, but some peoples true negative colours tend to come out when it's break time..............
Anyway, they're smokers, so they need to leave the building every break and I don't haha
So that's a positive.
But I won't go over the effect that it's disappointing to have such annoying colleges.
Being honest about these feelings makes me threat it more effectively by immediately going for a walk & run after work, also a part through a dark forest at night.
This really helps in getting their toxicity really quickly out of my system and allowing myself to watch positive people like you for example and sleep better.

Congratulations on the new job.. but, ahhh I know you mean! I remember literally eating in my car one day because I didn’t enjoy the people I worked with! Remember, they’re colleagues- keep it friendly but you don’t need to be CLOSE friends. It’s definitely nicer to work with friends, but not always the case unfortunately. You will find your tribe 💪🏼
@@RobbiJan Thx yeah, well... 3 out of 4 of them are professional energy vampires.
So if I'm too nice they'll eat too much of my good energy, but if I'm too blunt/bald on the other hand they'll attack me as well.
So it's a difficult 'game'/war of balance.
Good thing though is that after the first month I'll be able to work from home mostly.
So it's worth the war I feel like.
Regularly a bitter pill has to be swallowed first to get to a better zone.
I'm trying to find different sauces though to add some flavour to it........
