See if your town has a Legal Services Volunteer Program. The lawyers work to help clients after their work hours for free. Clients meet with the lawyers to work on their legal case each week. Best wishes!
I did continuously check when I lived in Tulsa but now that I’m here, I’ll be trying to find other resources here.
Check with your local county courthouse for resources to speak with an attorney for free. It’s only going to be a few minutes of their time but it is worth it. Praying for you!
YES, check with them for a listing of attorneys that can work with you for free or sliding scale. It's important you keep records or a chronological list of events that have been going and will so in the future. Record everything on paper, have people follow up restating things in emails if they promise or agree to something, and/or on paper. If he doesn't comply with a parenting agreement, that's contempt, and an attorney when informed of it will schedule a court hearing. Remember at all times, keep it classy, take the high road, and let your attorney run their mouth for you. Always keep in mind the court wants what is best for the children, and that's to know both parents (we don't get to chose if they're nice parents or not). Been there, done that. Just focus on always being the best version of you, improving yourself, and creating a lovely home and life for the children to thrive and grow. They need this to be able to focus on their own personal development and education, which is EVERYTHING. Good Luck.

Do they have legal aid lawyers. You might qualify to use them.
I don’t understand how he is not in contempt if he isn’t following the parenting guidelines! This will catch up with him once you go to court. He will not look good in the eyes of the judge! He thinks he has leverage because he feels you don’t have the money! But you are getting yourself in order and will prove him wrong and the kids will know how hard mom fought for them ❤He’s only hurting the children and they will know one day! I’m so sorry you are dealing with this!
If they aren’t making your life better let them go! That means even if it’s family ❤
That's exactly what I was thinking. If he isn't following the rules in regards to the visitation, he is out of compliance. I couldn't believe she was told not to contact him even in regards to checking on her kids or she'll be in trouble. That's insane. If she has visitation rights, just like him, how could she get in trouble for reaching out to check on them. A year? That's crazy. I hope she is soon reunited with her babies because this is so crazy.
So Technically, yes, he is in contempt. I’m not sure why things are going the way they are, but they are.
I have filed several police reports on the matter, even filed harassment charges on him after he continued to bring his girlfriend to my place. BUT, how the police came to my door, or met me in court, they didn’t do that when I told them about him &&& had proof!
As far as the Judge, we haven’t actually been to court over the kids. We went to court over a No-Contact Order & during that we signed a Parenting Plan. The No-Contact Order was lifted & the parenting plan was set in place. He followed that for a while & then he just stopped out of nowhere. It started off with “I can’t drop the kids off at the p/I location” to him not responding or texting back at all.
I haven’t been summoned to court. I go to court for other reasons and he knows all my court dates so it would be easy to serve me if needed. But, he hasn’t. I’ve reached out to several organizations but I got a lot of No’s and when I finally got a Yes, he denied showing up. Which was to start the process of finalizing our divorce and figuring out a set-in-stone plan for the kids. He denied it & he’s living his best life with his girlfriend and their New Baby. While Our kids don’t even have the pleasure of seeing their own mother. I’ve tried to do all I could do but the honest truth is, I don’t have the money. I have a good job now, but this hasn’t always been the case. I just started working here and I just moved into a place. I had to ask for help. I had to share my story. It’s alot of things I can’t discuss, because it could be used against me in court, but I promise, I’m telling y’all all that I can & the honest truth.

I started watching your channel years ago and noticed that I hadn't seen you in a while. Of course, we didn't know what all was going on. I hate this for you so much. You were always at home with your babies, and like you said in your video, going from being with them every day to not seeing them in over a year, that's affecting them as well. Those kids aren't used to you not being there. God has the last say, and prayerfully, it'll all work out in you and your kids' favor. You have done nothing to harm your children, so I don't understand how he isn't in trouble for keeping them from you. God does not like ugly, and He is going to work it out for you. Stay prayed up, and don't let him know your next move. I wish your family was a little more supportive, but that's okay too. You have your RUclips community, and we've got your back. I am a social worker, so I see stuff like this all of the time.

Don’t ever give up. No matter what life throws at you,don’t give up. Things will work in your favor. Also be very selective of who you let in your life. Not everyone is a good person. Users find givers,you’re a giver. They take advantage and if you don’t do what they want they lie about you or threaten. I’m praying for you and your children.

Just finished watching one of your cleaning vids and i had the same problem with my tub. Guess what worked? A regular plunger. I saw it on youtube. Used that plunger and never had that problem again. As far as this video goes, great transparent video. Keep grinding you will get your kids ❤

By law your ex husband shouldn’t be able to keep your children from you. If you had a parent plan he would be in contempt. Legally that should be enforced. I’m sorry but something just doesn’t add up with the story. Also, sometimes you have to remove people from your life even if that is family. Sometimes family are the worst of them all. As far as the story goes, this isn’t the first time I’ve shared what has happened. I’ve done several lives with my true supporters & they know the full story + what you watched today. I just have to be mindful of what can and can not be used against me in court.
