Aspiring producers - Due to popular demand I'm opening up slots to private tutor / coach producers looking to achieve a pro level sound. I primarily teach in Ableton but can help with all aspects including: - Workflow and overall technique - Mixing / Mastering to a pro level on your own - Sound Design - Writing and General Theory - Creativity Process / Mindset - Building a lasting brand / Dance music Business In the past 2-3 years I've had productions placed on nearly all major and indie labels, including OWSLA, Atlantic Records, Def Jam, Ultra Music, Mad Decent, Sony, and many many more under different aliases and brands (I don't just work under DSTAR, you know!). If you want to take production more seriously in 2019 and need a boost that free RUclips tutorials just can't provide, hit me up for one-on-one coaching in person here in NYC or over Skype. I like the way you explain what you're doing, and how frequently you play the notes as you're tweaking the parameters. Makes it really easy to apply these techniques to other sounds, and to not get lost while working through the tutorial with you. Cool sound as well, simpler to make than I expected.
At around 6:20 when you are messing around with the sounds of how the wobble sounds (with the pitch and speed etc), is there a way to alter how that sounds on the one channel rack with automation? Or would you have to create a seperate track with the different wubs? - Much wub, many wow
i cant play the notes, like theyll play, but each time is different. itll be different timing, and everything is off, i dont understand what im doing wrong. it seems to be this way with every tutorial, ill follow them exactly the same and try over and over, but its always late and plays at different times.
also when i follow everything step by step exactly as youre doing, when ever i animate the resoluter under the filter, it completley loses all sound of bass and just sounds like a weird as laser gun or something and i dont get how its not the same
