Little lore fun fact, though Jordan is very educated about LoL lore (mwah): Ahri got a Popstar skin on the 25th of November in 2013, two years after her release. They implied it in the first K/DA music video were it's in the cloth basket next to Ahri. Her K/DA lore is that she became a teenage popstar and was famous for the cutesy fanservice looks and style even when she got older. She feared that her career would end if she actually embraced the style she wants, but in the end she charmed (hehe) the haters and popped off. :D
Another tiny little fun fact, the skin was inspired by Girls' Generation! She also dances Run Devil Run and Genie I think?

Ahri spoke and said that she had writers block when making "I'll show you" in a way the cage around her could be that and when it blooms. That's her embracing the music and accepting the song for what it is.

This music video also reflects what Kpop stars go through as well. Some music companies are really hard and brutal on their stars. They push them REAL hard and sometimes when they've gotten to their stardom (This is just my thoughts). They kinda lose themselves as who they are as a person if you get what I mean? Its like Ahri lost herself as she kept pushing through all the hardships and had to go with the trends instead of being true to herself.

i'll deny it sometimes, but every time i listen to I'll Show You by K/DA, i feel this bunch of emotion in my heart and it's getting heavy, then my eyes starts watering up. This is such a triumphant song.

12:45 Only the middle and right stage lights are on while the left one is off. Kinda reminds me of how past, present, and future. So I think that's why one of the lights are off because it symbolizes the past and she's chosen to move on, I think.

I know I'm super late to this party, but just wanted to add the glass she is looking thru at the beginning is the same that's broken at the end. It's the one she wants to smash in the lyrics.
Maybe it's just me, and I'm curious what Jordan's feeling would be about this if he read Korean (maybe he does by this point? xD)
But at 10:09 of this, when it's Nayeon's part and she hits "너가 잘 알잖아," the visuals for the second projector effect show "잘" when she's on "너가" and it subsequently delays "알잖아" by a beat.
So the audio and visual aren't necessarily lining up and feels super sloppy and jarring to the listener if you're reading and listening at the same time. The first time I watched the M/V, that was like the major thing that stood out to me because of how it illuminates on the beat, but isn't actually corresponding to the lyrics.
And Jordan, if you don't know how to read Korean yet, not even like understand it but just be able to read and pronounce it, you should 100% learn Hangul. It takes a few hours. It's super simple and may help out with these videos in the long run!

Highly recommend taking a couple of hours out of your day to learn how to read/pronounce it - super, super easy.
Not sure how many examples exist in English, but I suppose as an editor, you would feel a certain way if I said something like
"You know that" and it was displayed on screen, but when I'm saying "You," "know" has already appeared on the screen before I ever get to that word and "that" appears when I'm on "know" a full beat ahead.
Hard to describe I guess, just dissonance that I feel could have been executed a bit better, even though I know they were trying to break it up into quarters based on syllables, ultimately landing on 아 at the right beat in the end, it just feels and sounds weird.
i don't if it's related but that caged girl had 9 tails once the cage bloomed into a flower , 9 tailed fox is a mythical creature, it's stronger then ever in it's full potential and symbolizes extreme will power and potentially strong mindset.. so in short she is like i'll show u all what i can do , i warned u but now i'll show u what i am capable of.. (this is a literal threat to people bashing them)
