At 18:54, please ignore my grammar. I was trying to rush through editing without having to interfere with storage problems. Sometimes my English can be a little off, sorry about that. Also, this is the longest video I ever posted on this channel. This is where I shall make history.
I had noticed that on 11:19, I realized that I used the wrong whistle for McCloud River #19. The real whistle I made is right here: ruclips.net/video/5mB5T36SOYs/видео.html
You've built up quite a huge library of whistles and horns! These are perfect for kitbashes, reskins and replacing the default sounds on existing locomotives.
Glad you like it. I wouldn’t mind if whoever makes the kitbashes use my whistles, as long as they give credit. If they’re ok with using my whistles and horns, I’m ok with that too.
I got it from Berkshire Productions’ “Independence Likited 89.” Particularly, at yhe 34:25 mark of that video. The part where after seeing several pacing shots (without the music blasting) and with the 587 screaming at the crossing.
These whistles are great! Well done Also for the next Trainz Whistle Pack can you added Southern Railway #4501's 3 chime, the one that was used in cartoons.
First off, at 24:12, isn’t that supposed to be the Spirit Train’s whistle? I know I wasn’t being 100% accurate with the labeling, but it’s basically the same thing, isn’t it? Second, shucks! I knew I forgot #4449’s MSTS Whistle! Oh well, I’ll make up for that next video, which will be an add on to the current pack. It won’t be the seventh one, just the sixth. Edit: It’s available now!
@CowCatcher Studios I agree with you, the 5 chime was indeed better than the 6 chime #3751 is currently wearing. I still wonder if it’ll be wearing the 5 chime again soon… And the GN 5 chime, thanks for the compliment, I really appreciate it.
@Caledonian905 I won’t post the link here knowing that RUclips would automatically delete it if I posted it, but I have posted a link to the website which was archived in the description of my Pack 5 video. Anywhere it says AWVR (except for the 1206 which I got from the DLS) there’s the web(dot)archive link posted.
As for GTW 5629, it was NOT Metra's fault that 5629 was scrapped, it was all Richard "Dick" Jensen's fault. He became selfish and greedy as a result of a series of unfortunate circumstances, and he sacrificed 5629 in a futile attempt to get himself out of his financial troubles.
I’m not very good on editing but I can manage the horn sound. Is there anyway to change the chuff sound on the challengers? I’m gonna work on the headlights on few models tomorrow to see if I can change the lights from puke yellow to more realistic looking one.
All that I know about the enginesound is that you can just copy/paste the kuid number of any enginesound asset you want on your locomotive. But for the lights, look for any corona asset you like (on the DLS or a third party website) and just do the copy/paste trick, but only at the parts where they say corona and swap the kuid numbers for the corona lights.
In the description. It says so at the end of this video. Did you watch the whole video? I know it’s a pretty long one, because I added a lot more than usual.
Sorry, I forgot to include it in. Don’t worry, I will include it in the next one. Edit: I forgot that I had it in another whistle I already had included in my previous pack. Sorry about that.
Yeah, that’s why I’m never gonna use that reskin model again. I’m probably gonna have to use some other model instead. That is, if anyone else can make a better model, a more accurate one at least.
@@SteamIsntKing The Powell or Hancock? Speaking of Powell, that whistle reminds me of when C&TS #489 used to wear a Powell 3 chime in the 90s, before it was swapped with the ATSF 6 chime. If you’re talking about the Hancock 3 chime, sounds a bit like one of the Southern locomotives (either #1401, #722, #630, or #4501) or some other locomotive I’m probably not aware of.

NKP 765's current whistle will be added in the next pack right?
Oh, yeah I forgot about that. I was originally going to add it to this pack, but I’ll make a separate video for that. It’ll take a while.
@@T128Productions okie dokie

12:30: Sounds like the Cannonball whistle.
Awesome, definitely some of the most realistic horns and whistles I’ve ever heard for Trainz
I agree!

Yooooo, epic Josh. I'm diggin' the amtrak K5LAs
Ah yes, nothing like the beautiful sounds of whistles and horns to make a simple man smile
Agreed
@StarWolf2199 Same here, thanks.
@@T128Productions You’re welcome
Agreed
23:50 I like Santa Fe #3751's 6 chime whistle, which is sounded way improved and better than a yucky 5 chime, in my opinion.
Can you tell me where you foundthe 587 soundbyte at 4:34?
I got it from Berkshire Productions’ “Independence Likited 89.” Particularly, at yhe 34:25 mark of that video. The part where after seeing several pacing shots (without the music blasting) and with the 587 screaming at the crossing.
@@T128Productions Thanks, man.
Well, Metra was actually forced to scrap 5629, History in the Dark did a video about the true story of 5629 so I recommend watching that
3:14 I’ve been waiting for this one
Awesome job!
Thanks!
These whistles are great! Well done
Also for the next Trainz Whistle Pack can you added Southern Railway #4501's 3 chime, the one that was used in cartoons.
I was actually going to use a different recording, because the one you requested is too obvious.
mans went and updated the CNJ 3 chime i originally ported to tane. thanks man!
No problem.
11:20 isn't that just the whistle that was included with the pack? :P
That’s a different one.
I think it is, I don’t know.
@@T128Productions you sure? It's the same clip and everything, I should know I made it lmao
I actually got that one from one of Pentrex’s videos.

It’s from this video, just after you hear 765 right before 425 comes in.

ATSF 3751s 5 chime was better than her 6, kill me. Also, your GN 5 chime at 12:29 is very GN (confirmed by a GN foamer).

Where did you find that tank engine at 3:00?
On the DLS, when I searched “CNJ loco.” It’s a really hard find.
@@T128Productions Thanks. American tank engines in general are very hard to find, whether in Trainz or real life.
5:14 where did you get the whistle
Here: ruclips.net/video/bClK6eNvHR4/видео.html
At 1:37, where did you get that SD7 or 9?
From Trainz Forge’s old website.
@@T128Productions Oh okay, thank you.
Nice horns and whistles, btw!
Thanks. I spent a lot of time working on this one.
3:14 why didnt you put in on 1361?
One reason, I already had another whistle for #1361. I just thought I’d add it to another K4, since it’s literally the same class.
@@T128Productions why does prr 1361's whistle in 3:14 sounds diferent
Because, one was the original whistle, and the other one came off of a PRR Q2.

Pretty awesome whistles that you got. What route are you using in the video. Thanks for making great content.
The route is called the Kirby River Shortline, and it’s a work in progress. I’m planning on releasing it onto my website whenever I can.
12:20 sounds like Sam's whistle from T&F a tad bit
It is. I just changed it to a 3 part whistle.
What was the origin of the Zelda Spirit Train whistle?
I have no clue.
Next pack you should make NKP 765’s C&O Hudson whistle from the NRHS 1991 convention
I actually have been working on that one for a while, but I got the audio from this video: ruclips.net/video/9_VQkjfujUE/видео.html
