The exact name of the game is Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed.
Works well on my win7 x32bit operating system.

This is a non-patched version of NFS:PU.
Three patches must be applied to it to play on modern systems:
1. Unofficial Enhanced Version 3.5.20040310;
2. >2GHz CPU Fix (if you install UEV 3.5.20040310, you must do this patch by hands (using a HEX-editor), as >2GHz CPU Fix does not support that patched porsche.exe for an unknown reason);
3. Widescreen Patch.
All of them are widely available on the Internet.

Probably the only racing game where you feel like the car behaves like a car.
And the damage system was amazing.

yeah, I can definitely say the same. Right now we don't really have racing games, those are more of simulator ones, better drive over stupid arrows and brake when they turn red, like what the hell is that.

and i COMPLETELY agree, i don't know where is the fun in that, trust me i hve one of those game and.... you can't race, you can't feel the speed, if there is a corner you need to brake waaaaaaay earlier, i mean you can't just hit the handbrake and drift like a boss
but also now the arcade racing games are way too easy
in other words, there is not even 1 good racing game nowadays

@@Dragosflash Also the music is NFS: heat is mainstream garbage and it makes me so upset that we have songs like "Corroboree" and "Road warrior" to name a few that is still a head-banger even today and fit's the situation of street racing well. Those songs came out over 20 years ago. Hell even songs from Ridge racer, SA: Rush, Daytona USA, MARIO KART, and mainly 90's racing games and some 2000's too have OG music that sounds so good and can last up for decades! But now? Replaced by shitty music made by people who just want a paycheck and that's it.
Granted not all mainstream music is bad though but for me, it's mostly the same with nothing that sound unique at all.
Also Paul Haslinger that composed some of the "Riced" need for speed games music is underrated! I rarely see people talking about the music in convocations. It makes me sad man...

I learned what an Autobahn was from this game!!! Major nostalgia!! I always loved this track, but I always got spooked at the tollbooth when they talked in German hahahahah.

Great video!!! You drive excellent, I think I never got to master this game so well myself but it's one of my favorite Need for Speeds. Watching this, I feel like the sense of speed and danger I get from this video can't compare to newer Need for Speeds I've played, even Most Wanted.

incredibly, im 14,and i have nostalgia about this game,my da dinstalled it on my pc with a full game save cuz he knew i wasnt ganna complete and i basically grew with it,it was so dam cool,i played it till 2013 when i got gran turismo 5

I loved that Moby Dick car, but steering it was a huge challenge, and sometimes just a freaking nightmare.

Bro, change the final gear ratio to negative numbers, it will give you a longer 4th gear, enough to reach like 340 km/h.
