Scleral Lens Management of the Keratoconus Patient

The primary indication for scleral lenses is keratoconus. A properly fit scleral lens can substantially improve a keratoconus patient’s visual acuity with a lens that is stable and comfortable to wear. This lecture will discuss specific scleral lens fitting considerations and strategies to best manage the keratoconus patient. Advanced topics such as corneal crosslinking, managing comorbidities and wavefront correction will also be addressed.
