The way they don't let go until you do. So many people suffering so many things that none of us know but a simple hug can help, and the characters know that. Seriously sobbing.
Before my wife passed last year she said "You go to Disney World and have a good time for me.". I could use a hug from Mickey.

Absolutely...the first time I saw this video while I was having my morning coffee at Starbucks, it was that 2nd hug Molly got from Mickey at Chef Mickey's got to me.

Chef Mickey giving Molly a little pat on her shoulders as if to say, "There, there, Molly. I missed you, too. We're together again!" The sweetest.
My daughter is blind so we brailled the characters name in the autograph book for them to sign. It made for some great interactions. When we got home we outlined the signatures with puff paint so she could feel the name.

Molly, I totally get it, and I was crying right along with you. My first trip to the MK after my daughter passed away was right before the pandemic. Her favorite character was Winnie the Pooh. We went to Crystal Palace for breakfast, and when Pooh came to our table, I totally lost it. I hugged Pooh, and told Pooh why I was crying, and Pooh held me so tight and just let me cry on his shoulder! THIS is the heart of Disney and why it’s so different from anywhere else❤️❤️ Can’t wait to go back and hug Mickey!!
I'm such an emotional mess right now! LOL I've never cried so much over an AllEars video! The long hug from Mickey at the Contemporary wrecked me. And then the sympathetic hand pat- that's why Mickey is the best! And Minnie got it, too! Great video!

OMG when Molly runs up to give Mickey that first hug it actually brought tears to my eyes! I was never that into character greetings, but this shows how special they really were. I can't wait to hug Mickey too! 💖

This made me tear up !! I’m on plane going back home and we were able to meet Sully in Hollywood studios the day hugs come back. We had no idea he was there. I tear up when I think about it and they got a pic of the hug. It was the best. We met and hugged characters in Hollywood and vine after that too. It was the best day of the trip. Can’t wait to go back!!

I was blessed to be a performer at Walt Disney World for nearly 12 years and I can say that I loved meeting Disney adults who believed in the magic like you Molly! But here’s a controversial statement from me 😆. I am not a fan of the autograph books. For me it takes away from the interaction time that these performers are trained to do. While it was sad during the shut down to not be able to see characters up close… You were able to see them perform the way they were meant to. Interacting, mimicking, playing. I mean how cute was it to see Pooh frolicking and playing with his butterfly net?!! And I thoroughly loved seeing that. Autograph books are one thing I wish didn’t come back😉
My kids absolutely loved getting autographs, and we did a lot of what Molly said, had the pen and page ready. That made it go smoother by my kiddos loved the autographs and it helped break up the day.
@@sarahpitcher3996 when it’s done properly the way you do it you can utilize your time for sure and still have that great interaction! It just always saddened me when people weren’t ready and the whole time was spent trying to get the autograph. You’ll know you’ve met a seasoned performer when they know how to interact while signing the books but it’s not as easy as it looks😆
I agree, autographs are fun but I had way more fun when I just let the character interact as they wished. I went to Disney World while the characters were still social distancing and it was so fun to see them in their element! And you can tell they missed their Guests because they kept the conversation going! They didn't want to just take photos, they wanted to talk with you. Rey, Elena, and Snow White spoke the longest with me! I loved it so much but I'm glad hugs are back! And that's so awesome you were a performer!!!!
I don't like carrying the book around so I'll just snap pictures.
I caught chip and dale having a picnic at Hollywood studios and it was the cutest thing and one of my favorite interactions

Molly is practically a Disney character to me at this point. She is so genuine, I love her enthusiasm so much. She is the reason I subscribed to this channel. I hope we can see lots more of her for many years to come! ❤️🏰

You’re not being dramatic at all! Some of us hold Disney really closely to our hearts for so many different reasons, and after 2 crazy years where nothing was normal, hugging Mickey again feels normal and that’s a BIG deal. 💕

I do understand how emotional it is after more than 2 years. You hugging Mickey made me she'd a few tears.
It's not necessarily the character I think it's more the being able to hug and feel like it's a hug from your childhood. This has been a very dark 2 years so it's a big deal.

I remember when I went on my first and very brief solo trip back in late 2019. I attended (who'd have known or thought) what would be the FINALY Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party, and my goal on this trip was to get as many characters signatures as possible on all of these get well soon cards for my friend who was fighting a rare form of brain cancer. Luckily at the moment, she's beat it twice, but when I mailed these cards to her in secret, she couldn't believe it! I saw 55+ characters over 4 days and I was about dead but it was worth it! I didn't get to see everyone, but I enjoyed making some magic for her! So with that said, consider cards for any reason. Make sure they're family friendly of course, BUT that's a great idea too!
I've never been so excited for a video before. Can't wait to cry and be "dramatic" as Molly would say along with her. I may or may not have played the Chef Mickey's reel on repeat the other day and cried almost every time I watched it.

I totally get the emotion. I tear up at the same things you do, Molly. Chewy remains the best Disney hug ever. And I agree about the villains. Jafar is totally my Disney husband.....mostly because when I met the character at the Halloween party in 2019, it was the BEST character experience/interaction....as odd as that might sound. Whoever had that assignment ROCKED it, and I was sold. ;)

Every time you hug a character I just started to cry because it’s so good to get a warm big hug from Mickey Mouse and other favorite character. I’m a 30 year old adult as well and I love Disney character and I love talking to them and giving hugs. This was such a good hugging video and I cried all the way through. Love you Molly keep the hugging video coming for other parks
