Nice short Nanovor retrospective. I think it captures what the majority of people thought about the game/franchise, which from the perspective of a fan is a bit sad and unfortunate. Both games got dragged down by a couple of large issues. Also, I think I heard that some parents were not happy with the game being marketed to kids, gore being the culprit of course. The main part I don't really agree with is the ending, especially "nothing tangible at the moment" that just isn't true.
I remember really liking this game when I was a kid. I was into Digimon, Pokemon, that kinda stuff, so Nanovor was right up my alley. I think the gore also helped it have its own personality. Like "This isn't kid's stuff! We have gore and gross stuff!". I remember really liking that one frog with a blade in its mouth. Shame it's gone now.
Just was talking about little childhood games and this was one of them. I had so much fun on it
Trading nanovor was the coolest part of this game, I remember being so hype getting the one max lvl dude
This was my favorite shit as a kid

Btw there are groups remaking the game on their own
