I regret not learning about this show earlier. I could've been a contestant. Two years ago, I discovered through Ancestry that my father had an unknown family. I had the opportunity to meet my biological uncle, aunt, and numerous relatives in South Carolina. They warmly welcomed me into their lives. Remarkably, I bear a striking resemblance to my late grandfather, and the family instantly recognized our blood relation to them. Sadly, my father's biological father passed away in 2019, just two years after we discovered our new family on Ancestry. Unfortunately, my father passed away three weeks before he could meet his biological brother for the first time. It is a difficult reality to accept that my father never had the chance to know his biological father, and my uncle never had the opportunity to meet and get to know his older brother.

I can relate a little. I have a half brother(same dad) and I found out about him when I was 31 and I'm now 45. I first met him at my wedding when I was 37(he came from Arizona to Ohio to be in my wedding). We look so much alike. So many similarities. So much to talk about.
