The r being bad is a diabolical take since it lets you land a 100% true one shot combo post-evasive like before. and yes, true since counters wont work because there is no downslam limit unlike tsb and others(meaning you can downslam fast enough after a ragdoll to where they have no freedom to escape whatsoever, or keep someone ragdolled until they use evasive with only downslams if you have a teammate)
There's also a true mini combo that you should start with before everything else. 3 m1s, side dash, 3rd skill, front dash and another 3 m1s and you can basically do any move after that.
for some reason if you time the third move after they get up it’s stuns them for longer so you get a chance to dash or side dash and m1… pretty dumb but it works (and tested in ranked… yes it’s true lol)

Being used to shadow monarch the best way to counter it, I suggest you is to hold block when the distance is decently far, because both 3 and 4 is block-able, and for the R just use a range move, or like in the video said is to do a grab move since it made you I-frame. Basically play as passive as possible.
I’m pretty sure goku’s “saiyan instinct” has 0.6 second startup, mind you IT IS THE ONLY MOVE IN HIS ARSENAL THAT CAN SAVE HIM FROM A COMBO. Therefore any attack that has a startup lesser than 0.6 second absolutely VIOLATES goku.

Anybody is allowed to criticize a game. I’d bet a lot of people are with me when I say that getting touched twice and dying (first time getting rid of your evasive, second time doing the combo) isn’t fair or fun to play against. There’s no skill involved in not getting hit with it either, unless you expect everyone to just not get hit ever. You can’t respond to getting hit with the downslam, you literally just gotta deal with it

In RR people found like 15 different ways to do an inescapable one hit combo on every single character lol And if you manage to escape in any possible way, you get hit one single more time and boom, your dead.
