What are Blower Fans good for?

To be honest, I still don't completely know why blower fans are so popular for professional use but not personal use. If someone knows please advise in the comments. I only made this video because I felt bad about buying 3 fans for a personal experiment knowing i might return all of them. Hopefully this will help other people answer the questions I was asking!

As someone who has little experience on how spinning pieces of plastic create air movement… My hypothesis as to why traditional fans (or the weird vertical tower ones) are more popular than the blower styles can be broken down into 5 categories.
1. Noise: While the Turbo may do a wonderful job keeping mold at bay from last night’s pesky rain on the job site in a dark and damp basement where few are brave enough to wander. Your traditional fan can be as quiet as a house elves footsteps across your grandma’s carpet and I think most people like elves.
2. Size and Design: Blower fans are in my expert opinion are lil thicc and not easy on the eyes for when you’re having that coworker come by for the 1st dinner party you may host. Whereas your typical fan is often a better choice for people who like to perch their beautiful polyethylene blade spinners in a window sill like their canary who is on a little vacation around the neighborhood.
3. Cost: Well… like you said, as cool as the turbo is it was one of the more expensive on the list. I can run down to pretty much any store and get a typical fan that will do the trick of making those O2 molecules have a fiesta in a room where the air is as still as a sea cucumber on a Thursday morning.
4. Airflow Concentration: Although the Turbo blows (and inversely sucks) the best, it may be too concentrated. A traditional fan will blow air in a way that will caress your cheek like a flower petal falling off a tree in late spring.
5. Energy efficiency: Final disposition. More blow typically goes hand in hand with more power draw from the wall. And as much as I’d love power to be free and magically come from the power gnome who is posted in your front lawn. Your traditional fan will often times be more efficient and this would be a factor in people looking to save some bennies for their next turtle aquarium they always dreamed.
