The photographer and host of this video, Jake, is an exceptional spotter and driver as well. His orange Jeep has a manual transmission, so he is shooting footage and providing great commentary, all while running 3 pedals and a shift lever. Smmoootthh!!! And he's a heck of a nice guy, too!
Great video Jake! I met up with that fellow from yesterday with the Gecko JL and we ran plan B today but inadvertently started at the wrong end and did all of these obstacles the wrong direction 😂
Someday I'd love to see all the bypasses on this trail if you ever have the opportunity to film that. Joel did it with Gary and Greg and I stayed in the RV. 😬
There are definitely bypasses in several spots but trails retain their rating based on the hardest obstacle(s) without a bypass. If you aren't comfortable doing a 7 rated trail, doing the bypasses won't help.
I'm doing this trail in a few weeks and was looking forward to it. Even more now after watching this video. Great job on the narration and commentary - very well done.
