Can this program log data and make histrical trends. For instance, if I want to display parameter value from 8 to 9 AM, can I use this program to do that ?
Hello. We want to buy this program but we must be sure that this program is exactly what we are looking for. We have following task: We use PLC (programable logic controller) to collect data of oil borehole and we want to transmit these data to display them on plot (with time placed on Y-axis) in real-time and have possibility to display them on historical trend. Can we use this program to comply this task ?
Hi. The program has no capabilities for plotting in real-time. Instead, it simply reads data from a file and makes a diagram. As a consequence, you would need to save your data to a file and then execute LogPlot to replot it. This could get pretty obnoxious. Best regards, Jim Reed (jim@rockware.com).
