The most amazing thing about this video is that you found such a huge flat spot on the map.
Their is a few spots on both maps that will fit this build.
Where will this fit on exiles? I'm thinking maybe Silkwood but not certain.
@@wickedwilson3164 I'm currently building this on a relatively flat piece of ice thats floating on the water right next to the black keep. Though it's not going to be an exact copy instead it's going to be a walled town, right on the edge of the ice sheet for fishing docks and what not. Top right corner of E11
On Exile Land you have big flat space near teacher of Mitra religion.
I tried in exile lands near Murielas hope and C7 it doesn’t fit, it is just to big and the places are not flat enough.
This is becoming my conan building friend, really soft music and inspiration, thank you!
i love it when someone builds walls that can actually be defended. while also be useful barracks/ storage space.
I don't know what I'm more impressed by; the fact that you did that entire build in the seated flying position (I hate doing that) or the fact that you found a piece of land that big and that flat.
Their is only a few locations on each map that are flat/ big enough for the build o.O

Lol, their is an option on youtube to slow down the video. Their are several options to playback at a speed that will be easy for you to follow along.
I wait patiently for you to put out new builds!!!!! I always learn some kind of new techniques! But I have a question about your beginning. Why (after) you have run the ceiling pieces and fence foundation do you tear them out just to put them back again?

That's mainly to map out the layout. It gives me an idea of where to place the corner pillars because the fence foundations will obstruct their placement.

@34:36 That Wooden Support Strut seems an odd choice. Why not just go with another Argossean Door Frame?
Personnel preference. Either would work, I like the openness of the struts better than the door frame for interior hallways.
nice build tho frankly i don't really like Argossean pieces, the whiteness and patterns kinda hurts my eye and it gives me a headache. kinda dizzying. i think i prefer darker pieces with fewer patterns or cleaner patterns. I do like Yamatai stuff tho, it feels and looks elegant. not a fan of black ice tho, it's too dark and dirty.
@8:24 Why did you have to destroy those floor tiles before putting the walls in? The walls should have snapped in just fine with the floor tiles already there.
EDIT: Nevermind. I just remembered I'm using the less building restrictions mod.

Why intead of foundation blocks on the floor, do you put roofs and under them pillars?

Been meaning to ask. What's the benefit of not just using foundations? Columns and flooring pieces just seems so much more difficult.
You can't do the corner pillar trick with foundations
@@Xyghaar gotcha. And bc Barden doesnt use mods in his builds, he does the corner trick. Makes sense
@@TonyE727 Correct, it gives you more options using ceilings and pillar pieces vs foundations. Also I've been told foundation spam can lag a server so this also cuts back on that.
How do you break multiple things at once? I'm always doing it one by one, and it's so miserably time consuming.
For PC if you press [Shift] + [Delete] while looking at the piece you want to destroy, it destroys that piece. At the moment their is no fast delete for console players, but it does look like that is going to be changing once they release the 3.0 update.

Something I forgot to add, you have to be in admin mode aswell for it to work.
@@DrB048 That’s a bit silly, but it’s ok. I’m just playing single player anyway, so I’m already in admin mode. But that’s gonna make it a smidge annoying when I go to play on my brother’s server. Hopefully they alter that when the update finally comes out.
This looks amazing, and i want to try and build something like this as well - and, at least kinda copy the outer walls. do you know a good spot on the exiled lands map where this wonderful piece would fit in? its massive!
I only know of a few spots on the exiled lands; C7, border of F & G 5, and border of G 6 & 5.
I know this is 1 year old but I wanna update that this won’t fit in C7 area, it’s just too big for that area. On all other spots the terrain is not even enough.
I really want to build this beauty but I don’t like isle of siptah. 😥
How many building pieces did it take to build this? Watching this video I thought of a way to make this better suited for pvp official. The only issue I might have is someone reporting it for being too big even though we know it's because they fail at raiding lol. But dev wiping is the new meta unfortunately 😕
It's a lot, I will have to check when I get home. I probably wouldn't build this on official though lol.
