It probably has a restrictor plugged into the back of the head which comes out pretty easy or you can drill a hole through it and the water will pour out at a much higher volume. I love that you upcycle and repurpose items.
Make a pvc pipe with notches on both sides to go over the red valve so hannan can turn the shower head on, & off herself. Beautiful job with the outdoor shower house for everyone to use. Love you guys, be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone.
Most of those shower heads are low-flow there's a little plastic fitting inside there you can grab with some needle nose pliers and remove to get more flow, and keep an eye on that Lumber because them barrels are extremely heavy when they're full I had our rain barrel on some 4 x 4 post and it eventually started leaning to the left sinking from the weight. Another good video Jeff thumbs up.
I use to camp all spring - fall ... used 16 gallon jugs to shower with set them in sun all day to warm water jugs.. so you showed me how to change my 🚿 way just going to make one easy to take down and put up
Jeff I love watching your videos and it is the highlight of my day. I just discovered your channel and I also love fishing and everything outdoors. I would like to go noodling but I’m not sure how. Would you do a video on how to go noodling for people who have never done it before. Also if you do deer jerky I would love to see a video on that when deer season hits. Preciate ya. God Bless
Hey Jeff and Hannah....like the outdoor shower...nice little campsite you have there...looking forward to more videos....good luck noodling...have a great long weekend...preciate y'all
Just use the tool to turn your water on and off at the city meter.www.walmart.com/ip/LOSTRONAUT-Water-Meter-Key-12-inch-Valve-Wrench-Tool-for-Main-Shutoff/500556731?wmlspartner=wmtlabs&adid=22222222222363230486&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=e&wl1=o&wl2=c&wl3=74766922709489&wl4=pla-4578366458977666:aud-807612879&wl5=&wl6=&wl7=&wl10=Walmart&wl11=Online&wl12=500556731_10001043338&wl14=water%20line%20turnoff%20tool&veh=sem&msclkid=0f2830b5f9521ddca94d5006ba148b41
Jeff if you can hook up a toilet bowl float on that container you won’t have to turn on and off the water to fill it . Love yours and Hannah’s videos !
One of my cousins made a shower like that at our camp down on the river. I've been getting that black rifle coffee in the camo can. It's some good coffee.
Jeff, if you had an aerator pump that you're not using, you could have a plastic drum that was air tight, and when it's full, you could close all the valves and pump air into it... you'd have good water pressure, because the air would displace the water, and it might take less water to shower at a time... just run it when in use... you can still use the inline water filter to remove trash from the lake water...
Get a roll of 1/2" or 5/8" copper tubing, wind up a coil of it a few turns and attach it inline to your fill hose from the pump. Put the copper coil into a gas grill, a camp fire or in a Carolina cooker/deep fryer burner and it will heat the lake water up as you pump through it to the can. I'd drill out the holes in the shower head bigger because they are water savers and usually run with 65 pounds of pressure where you have gravity feed which is only a couple pounds pressure.
If you take the shower head back off and look inside where it screws onto the pipe, you will see a little plastic tab. Pull that tab with a pair of pliers and the piece will come out. That is the water saver for the shower head. After you take it out, then just screw the head back onto your pipe. The flow should be considerably more for your showers.
GOOD JOB! I had one kinda like that when l was working in the woods, only not near as elaborate. Plus it was only a 5 gallon bucket with a garden sprayer on it. Hehe. That one is fine!
They have little 12V shower kits on Amazon. Put one end in a bucket of water at your feet. Hang the other end above your head and take a shower. They also have kits that heat the water on demand. Both very affordable and easy to use.
on my VPC valve I used a larger piece of PVC pipe and cut a notch in the end, also added a Tee to the end of the 4' pipe. The notch will fit over the valve handle to turn it on and off.
Hey Jeff, sometimes those shower heads have a little filter in them. If you remove it you will get a little more volume. Love seeing your videos, keep em coming!

My father is a sailor. Our first shower was a black shower bag. You leave it in the sun and the water gets hot.

I like drilling out the water saver part for a little more volume. Nice job.

I got the rest the hook up. Thats a good idea.cover too.
Always busy awesome family time
Good Evening Jeff....
The first thing I do when I buy a new shower head is drill the main hole out bigger, this will create that hard, fast flow you are looking for...
Hell yeah it'll work awesome build Jeff
Shower in the woods sweet if your not at home bring the comforts of home to the woods Jeff you the man 👍
I live in the North East don't get much heat here ! I like the concept through. :-)
nice quick fix, always think outside the box!
Well done ! I like your ingenuity.
Get a small stick with a notch in the end that Hannah can use to turn the valve on to shower. Cheers from Canada!😁🇨🇦

❤cool
Great job. Water will warm up about sundown.
Great job Jeff

Heck yeah awesome but look into some solar heating besides the black drum
If ya switch to a hand held shower head, ya can plumb it down lower, so that little lady can reach. Helps get sand outta places, too! Nice job!
Paloma dude ! A camping shower !
Awesome job Jeff!!!
Nice outdoor shower ! Appreciate you all too !
Love me some Hannah !
Outstanding job brother
Wish I had your bldg skills brother. Simple for you is basically impossible for me lol👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Nice job!!! I'm thinking maybe add a short piece of garden hose also and have a hand held shower head.
Anything for your daughter….right Jeff? COOL!

Hannah Barron for president
Hell yeah! Love it!
Great video thanks
Would love to see some cut offs nailed to the posts under that deck Jeff. Thats some weight up there. Looks great tho
Nice work 👍🏻
Awesome Jeff!
Have a great memorial day weekend !
Amazing Woman Amen Love Her with all of my Heart ❤️ Amen,Dad is Amazing, really Cool DAD

Grate idea , simple, practical ,and resourceful !
Looks great
Yes she does.
Just wanted to say I'm huge fan of you and your daughter I'm subscribed to both and keep the great content coming
It will be nice to feel clean after handling catfish all day. Great idea.
Except for showering in nasty river water.
Love yall videos Philadelphia
Put a pop valve where you have the turn valve. Put a pull cord to it and you are ready.
GOOD JOB! I had one kinda like that when l was working in the woods, only not near as elaborate. Plus it was only a 5 gallon bucket with a garden sprayer on it. Hehe. That one is fine!
Spring loaded valve for off and on with a pull chain will work well in this application.
They have little 12V shower kits on Amazon. Put one end in a bucket of water at your feet. Hang the other end above your head and take a shower. They also have kits that heat the water on demand. Both very affordable and easy to use.

Need a couple nails one to hold the shower certain close, second one to hold the towel on the out side. Good job 💯💯💯💯
jeff your spoiling those guys !!!!!!!
Nice! Be sure to pull the flow restrictor out, you'll get a better flow until the pond water clogs the head.
I'm wondering about the zoning for cabins/small homes there.I know it's usually a town matter but wonder about the state overall.
For volume pull the water saver filters out of the shower head. Should ve sufficient. Most newer models require new gaskets after removing.
Hey Jeff, sometimes those shower heads have a little filter in them. If you remove it you will get a little more volume. Love seeing your videos, keep em coming!
Have a good Memorial day weekend
