@@gaveller Wow. Very nice. Is the guitar all solid or just the top? There's two guitar that I would like to have, Martin D28 and Gibson J200. As I Brazilian it's so expensive for me. Now I searching a good factory on AliExpress to buy a Martin D 28 copy but it's have been so hard.
@@thekalber You and me both! I also bought a J200 replica, he made it to a spec I had (similar to George Harrison's) its solid maple top, back and sides. The D28 is solid spruce top and laminated rosewood back and sides. Took about 3 months for both guitars from order to delivery. Both guitars were a few hundred dollars. If you're interested, let me know and I can find out if he has an eBay/AliExpress shop.
@@gaveller I'm curious of what they mean by laminated rosewood. Is there a different wood between the laminates? If so, I'm curious of what it might be. I seen solid rosewood versions made in China, but they usually want substantially more money for them. I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes. Your guitar sounds nice. Did you change any parts on it like bridge saddle, etc...? Thanks.
@@qua7771 Hi, good question! it's solid rosewood with a clear laquer on it, that's what they meant by laminate. I've not changed any hardware yet, machine heads and bridge seem robust enough. I did get it set up, which made a difference. I hope that answers your question.
That sounds really good!
Sounds great
Thank you!
Sounds awesome...so what is it a Chinese custom or off the rack? 🙂
Thanks, its a custom, I based it around Elvis' D28 spec spruce top and rosewood sides
It's sounds great. Where did you buy it?
I live in China, there's a guitar factory close by that makes them up

is there a serial number inside ?
What’s with the crooked pick guard?
My bad, it came separately
It doesn't resonate like a real D-28.

@@seane27 yea, my bad. I see the gold tuners on it now.
