I can't believe this came out in 1935! I watched this as a kid and loved it lol! I just showed my daughter this and she loved lol. It's funny something almost 100yrs old is still being enjoyed.

It starts off two birds making a house shaped nest and then the girl bird ends up running off with a bird with a suit and when she gets “north” she gets stuck out in the snow and that bird is pushing her out the door of the building he’s in. Excuse me if this was just me. We had a couple of these vhs with cartoons on them like another you can see on RUclips called Mel O Toons storybook collection. It has one I remember specifically called Casper the Curious Kitten.
The incomparable Smiley Burnette at his best! He was known for being able to sing in both a normal, and a very low register. Also was an accomplished comedic actor.
This was on a Cartoon vhs I used to watch as a kid...have no idea where it came from but it was old bugs bunny cartoons on there too. Memories!!!! I used to act out the eating part by myself 😂😂 the baby with the lollipop trick and the “I throw it away seeeee” lol!!!!! Love ❤️ this so much.
Was the lollipop really a Charms sucker? A Luckys store was still selling them in the 1980s. I think that's what Harpo Marx was offering "Polly Potter" in the movie "Cocoanuts" in 1929.
