I love how buying second hand ALWAYS makes a home feel more loved and lived in. There is something very warm about the English country style and she nailed it!
Very well said. I too think her home has lots of character. Because she wasn’t putting everything new in her home. How refreshing. But it is all beautifully arranged. That’s the secret; plus the house has good bones.
This is One of THE BEST HOME TOUR'S I have seen!! What a GORGEOUS HOME!!! 💚💚💚💚 TOTALLY my Decor Style!! LOVE all the Antique pieces she found!! Such a wonderful visit!! Thank you so much for sharing your Home with Us!!! 😀😄
I like this woman. She’s a natural narrator, loves animals, her home is beautiful and love the fact her pig gets a back pat when it walks into her gorgeous house.
Agreed! The gorgeous chandelier is a WOW factor and commands attention because it's STUNNING in your dining room.. What great vintage finds throughout your home. Beautifully decorated. Thank you!
Love this thoughtfully curated home. The paintings and textiles (curtains, red floral sofa, etc) add so much. It’s quiet English country vibes w/out the busy layers of florals.
What a breath of fresh air she is! I love the story she and her family are writing together. I also love her willingness to take her time to curate her house, combining exquisite beauty with the pig eating her cushions and snuggling on the sofa with the children! Splendid episode, Homeworthy!
She made my day when she said the tv is not the main attraction -- yes!! I would prefer putting a TV in a den or extra room, not in the main living space; however, I do like the idea of the digital image you can place on your TV to resemble a beautiful painting. Great idea! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
Stunning!! What an amazing collection of art and furniture. Thrifting and second had is the best. Love Pikachu!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.
Caley, you and your husband have created a family English inspired haven for your family. The antiques that you purchased are beautiful. I love everything about your dining room too!
Caley is so personable and relatable throughout the tour which made it a warm and inviting experience. There is a certain charm when one surrounds themselves with things from another time. Such a lovely tour! Thank you :)
I appreciate you being so sincere and honest about where you buy your decor from. I have thrifted for 50 years and still do. Like you I can tell you where most items came from and how much I paid. Love your home and “thrifted” home decor ❤️
Lovely tour ,loved the mural. You’ve certainly made an English Country home,I’m from England now living in the US .Weve furnished our whole house using 2nd hand items ,have done all our married life of 50 years .Theres so much pleasure in finding bargains .
A beautiful, well-curated and collected home! Svensson's sense of style is uniquely wonderful. However, she may want to note that Millenials and Gen Z cannot take credit for salvaging what previous generations must have thrown away. I've seen both younger and older people throwing away old furniture, architectural elements, antiques, china, and more. If anything, industry trends that are spoon-fed to us try to negate what was previously stylish. What I like about so many of the designers (old and young) featured in Homeworthy videos is that they buck trends in favor of creating a personal style that transcends the trends that come and go. There is something to learn from every video on this channel.
Love this house, one of the best episodes yet! Love her design style, antique finds etc.. My favorite room is the DINING ROOM!! Love the mural and the chandelier!!!! Well done!!
She has a wonderful eye! I think she has pulled of the English country house look marvellously. My mother grew up in an Irish Georgian country house (with 16th century bones) and it had many of the same features. The only difference would be that all the portraits in the great hall and gallery were of my mother’s forebears.
Another video to love. As a former resident of NJ, I sometimes miss the accessibility to so many different types of homes, artisans (like the mural painter) and things to do. Love the fact that the pig is a house pet.
I agree with you 100% that old furnitures were made much better and sturdier and more beautiful and graceful. My sisters furniture is 60 years old and it looks like it’s new. The same goes for home appliances and basically everything else. Craftsmanship was taken very seriously in old times. It’s amazing how much has changed. It’s sad. P.S I have developed a love for antiques myself.
That’s why I cannot find good paintings - she has bought them all! 😂 Really love how this home is styled and curated so lovingly and using thrifted finds!! Wish we could see the front of the house. I’m sure it’s beautiful. Thanks Homeworthy for another great episode. ❤
The dining room is absolutely gorgeous! 😍 That mural!! The artist did a beautiful job! Love the chandelier too! The paintings are tastefully displayed. Thanks for sharing! ❤
This home is stunning!!! The best gallery wall I've ever seen in a modern home!!! You nailed it. The dining mural is gorgeous!!! Last nite I watched the movie Babe and today watch this video with a pig in the house!! Loved it!! I have always thought it would be so cool to have a pet pig. And the two horses!!! So cute, the little one in his small barn looking out his little door and then the larger one in the bigger barn. I wouldn't get anything done for being with the animals!!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with all the vintage finds!!!
I can't believe that there are not more people commenting on the beautiful mural in the dining room; I was expecting there to be a number of people begging to know the name of the artist so as to hire them to do their walls! :P
This is one of my favorite tours!! The home is beautifully decorated and the host is wonderful! I love the collected, thrifted, vintage, antique decor! It's definitely English Country. 😊
What a beautiful home! I loved this visit and would love to visit again when Caley does her kitchen makeover! I especially loved the beautiful dining room!! Just my style of decor! :)
This home was beautiful, filled with collected treasures. I liked what she called the office best. I’m a fabric hound so I missed drapes, but I understand why she doesn’t have them. I also liked how she said it was not finished. Some paper or paint behind the plates in foyer would make them pop. Plus I was also hungry for some red accents.
I had a pet pig too but also love a beautiful home. People thought I was crazy but pigs are actually very clean (contrary to popular belief) and she never disrupted my design aesthetic ☺ But don’t get a pig without learning everything first!!! Loved this tour 😀
A absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated and it’s amazing how she found such beautiful pieces at second hand stores! It is fascinating how the owner concealed the television set. I would love to do that in my condo.
I love you home is gorgeous, I like antique to just like you , antique & vintage piece decor make the home warm cozy and class.Thank you to share your beautiful farm home🥰
Such a beautiful home!! Love all the paintings! Love the chandelier and think it's perfect for the space. I love antiques and this is how I decorate my home. I love the hunt for special pieces. The artist did an incredible job on the dining room walls. Could you tell me what color white/cream paint used on all the walls? Thank you for sharing!!
You have a beautiful home. …you described all your goodies ever so well very interesting to listen to…living here in the uk love love love your home👍🙏❤️
I find a favourite house then I watch another and that becomes my favourite!!! But this is outstanding home ! This is very similar to my taste ❤❤ love pikacu!!
and I get that the homeowner has such a love of art and has curated it beautifully throughout the home. I guess I just expected more focus on other details of the house, which was a gorgeous property.
A woman with a pig in her beautiful house has my heart.
I love how buying second hand ALWAYS makes a home feel more loved and lived in. There is something very warm about the English country style and she nailed it!
That means the world to me ❤
@@svenssoninteriors my bf and I adored your home and took so much inspiration from it 🩷
Very well said. I too think her home has lots of character. Because she wasn’t putting everything new in her home. How refreshing. But it is all beautifully arranged. That’s the secret; plus the house has good bones.
I really liked the fact that almost everything was bought second hand. She pulled off English country with white/cream walls. I love it!
It’s not just a beautiful place it’s a home with a heart for the family! One of the most enjoyable Homeworthy videos I’ve watched! ❤️

The star of the show…. That dining room mural. Ooh la la! Thank you for showing us this home! ❤
Yes, I agree. So beautiful!!
Thank you so much! I love that dining room❤

I can FEEL the love in this beautiful home. So lovely!
That means so much ❤ every piece I picked and found bc I loved
Beautifully curated! Tastefully done!
Could not agree more. Her home is not staged, but collected. It has layers that is achieved only with time.
PIKACHU IS EVERYTHING 🤣🤍🔥👏🏾😀

Gorgeous house. One of my favorite videos to date. And the tip of the year is the Samsung Frame TV simulation. ❤❤
I love the dining room chandelier!
So do I, plus the fact that the highth is correct. All too often, just like pictures, they are hung wayyyy too high.
Love this house, one of the best episodes yet! Love her design style, antique finds etc.. My favorite room is the DINING ROOM!! Love the mural and the chandelier!!!! Well done!!

Love the second hand stuff and all of the beautiful paintings
As an Italian, it's always so funny to me when americans talk about "Italian Tuscan style", because you'd never see something like that here hahaha
THANK YOU
Very beautiful home with a lovely hostess. The bust in the library is Dante Alighieri who wrote "The Divine Comedy ".

Lovely house, the copper would have been used for washing clothes not cooking. Love the painting in the dining room
Wow! What a home. Not my style but gorgeous. The old style trim and such look wonderfully old.
The dining room chandelier is not too large! It is perfect & gorgeous!!
and I get that the homeowner has such a love of art and has curated it beautifully throughout the home. I guess I just expected more focus on other details of the house, which was a gorgeous property.
