Mobile gaming only makes so much because it's the platform that invented free-to-play games with tons of microtransactions. There are hardly any mobile games out there that don't have this model.
I was under the impression Xbox was heading towards dropping hardware and developing the storefront, with Xbox consoles regrettably selling half the amount PS sells. Then again, game pass is also not making them enough so hard to tell what on earth they're planning.
Weird, the amount of revenue console makes altogether is slightly higher than pc according to new zoo and it has been that way for years. And mobile is less than half of all gaming revenue (49%), not over 50%.
Mobile makes a ton more money than PC and consoles due to free-to-play games with microtransactions. People spend an unbelievable amount of money on these games (some people in the hundreds, thousands, or even higher on one single game) and still complain that a $70 flat rate with no additional paid DLC or extra microtransactions is too high for a console game that costs over 100x more to make than Wordle or Candy Crush that makes billions of dollars for simple-minded games. Mobile should never be listed with any other gaming platforms because mobile has a completely different audience to capture with a completely different library and completely different mindset of interaction from every other category which fights for attention from the same audience.

Bro if you read the 18.4 billion article you would know that it isn't reliable. The article states that the oyua is a handheld gaming console 🤣.
