    Can the hook be removed? Trying to anchor a dog kennel panel. The horizontal bars are welded to the vertical bars.

      If you have a way to add a single cut to the rotating tab, you could just slide it out. A grinder would probably be the easiest if you have one and are comfortable using it.

    doesn't it rust sitting flush with the ground with standing water I would think so

      Probably eventually. EMT is galvanized on the inside but I would imagine over time with standing water you'd have rust develop.
