I lived in England for three years in the 70's(Air Force wife) and was able to go to Paris twice. Some of the most memorable times of my life. It was such a blessing! We bought an 1100 sq ft house that was a new build. When we were getting ready to go stateside again...we had the great priviledge of renting a home that was 2 houses from the 1800's that had been combined to create a very large home surrounded by a 12' flint stone fence situated on the high street....and l've been saying all this because so many of the things you are doing in your home remind me so much of things in that house.....deep stone window surrounds...an AGA stove(royal blue) that was set into a non working fireplace surrounded by delft blue tiles....oh it was beautiful and shabby and oh so wonderful! I am reliving some of those experiences watching you! I was 29 then and 70 now and all those times become more treasured with every year!
Angela, The little embossed sink is a gem... it could be used in so many ways.Your OLD WORLD window sill could easily be looking out upon the Cotswold's, an inspired idea for sure. But what I really loved about this video is that your family sings hymns after dinner, now that is priceless!
LOVE what you are doing... and am blown away that any man would co-operate enough to listen to your great ideas without whining and push back to avoid working as a team to help and with the prep necessary to pull off what you want to do. Even when you 'sell' your vision, it still takes co-operation to follow through. Divorced twice... why... lack of co-operation. I was supposed to fit in with their plans but the reverse never happened. Despite a fortune paid for tools - constantly shone so he could see his reflection, this is where it began and ended. Had to hire help when I needed it. All talk and no do in my experience. This is great.
I like the music at 16:45 til the end. More gentler, kinder to the ears. I like hearing your conversation to understand more how you do it. I love the stone window! Beautiful!! Amazing work. You amaze me with how much you accomplish each & every day!❤
Absolutely stunning! Looks original to the house, you two did a great job! Your home is so gorgeous, I love everything you've done and the feeling that comes across my screen is the care and love that you've put into it! In my dreams I would have a home like yours!😊 May our Lord bless you and your family always.
I am watching this for a second time ;) I am truly blown away by your creative eye for things. The window is so rustic and beautiful! I can picture you running downstairs the morning following it’s completion to look at it again and start decorating! At least that’s what I do with home projects after they are finished! You work so hard but yet with joy. What you have accomplished on your property is absolutely Stunning! The bonus for you I’m sure is how cooperative and into it your husband is, as my husband isn’t so much lol. I think he gets nervous anytime I am inspired to do a project. But he’s getting better! Thank you for sharing!
I've said it before, but I'll say it again ... you and Joel are such a great team. His t-shirt is quite prophetic. I would just want to sit and stare out that window all day long. I squealed when you hung the plate on the stone. Perfection.
Cant wait to see what you do with that cute sink...a cute girls bathroom maybe😙? Most people don't know but what looks like deep pockets is really the Blessings of a man with the gifted know how and the ingenuity of a Proverbs31 woman!
Angela, your room looks like something out of a French chateau with the stone window. Of course I love your use of blue pieces to decorate since I am a blue nut! I had to giggle whenever Junior appeared in the video he is so cute! Loved the video and you and Joel do such great work on your home in order to achieve your visions.
My soul sis...I have a pile of flagstone rocks lining my walkway waiting to be put on my brick columns. I was hoping one day to find someone to do it for me, but after watching you, maybe I can do it myself!! I was always afraid the rocks would fall off, but yours (going vertically) didn't! Guess the mortar is thick enough to stick until dried. I'm inspired now. Thank you!!
Love, love, love! This is one of my favorite episodes! I'm trying to figure out where to do some stone work in my kitchen now. You have the cutest little helper ever!
Your little son is so beautiful!!!! What an incredible blessing to your family!!! You must be so proud and feel so fortunate!!! Just lovely. Life is good, eh?
I can do do this on the north wall in my bedroom. Where I lived have creeks full of this stone. When we bought this house 33 years ago, one wall in the living room had a stone wall and I have always wanted another one. My husband passed away several years ago but I have kept our dreams alive.
I really love that you have what you need to LIVE your dream!!! I wish that for everyone as well!!! I and my husband are trying, you and your family are truly inspirational to that end. THANK YOU!!!!!
I love this type of video; seeing from start to finish the beauty appear. I made the chamomile lavender cake last weekend for an annual friends' retreat. They were in love.
love Joel’s shirt and the message! “make it happen.” Years ago I had a message board with “Just do it” written indeliblyacross the top. As a new widow with three children and a mortgage this became my mantra through college and part time jobs on top of parenting and holding us together during a particularly rough time in my family’s life. very inspiring. I am using my grandson’s u tube account hence the name. lol
Angela, these windows are ridiculously incredible! I watch the show Father Brown on BBC; it takes place in the gorgeous Cotswolds. I have to say, these look just as historic and wonderfully rustic as those 100+ year old cottages 🥰 Seriously wonderful stuff
Angela, what beautiful work on that windowsill! 🙌🏼 You and your husband make such an incredible team. I love the result. What amazing vision you have! Bravo!!!!💗
Little Joel...those cheeks! Your window project looks amazing. The way you decorated it looks beautiful. I wish I had that many zinnias! Mine are burnt to a crisp!
This is the kind of video that drew me to your site. Your home DIY decor was the draw factor for me, so REALLY enjoyed this! You are creative and your home is a piece of art.
Big Joel and Little Joel, are both so cute. The window is lovely. I need to show my husband your front steps, because this is what I was telling my husband we should do. I see things in my minds eye, a vision ...I guess. My husband doesn't have that gift. He wants to see it on paper or video.
I’ve been waiting for this video for you to explain how the rock application was applied. I became obsessed with it after first seeing it outside your garden, and have been collecting rocks from around our homestead here in southern Virginia. I just love how happy it makes me feel as my husband and I discussed what we would have to do to make it happen for us too. Thank you, so much we really enjoy watching... Dinah Mays
I love your stone windowsill. You have styled it beautifully. Your little boy is so cute. You and your husband make a great team. Just look at how much you have accomplished. Loved this video.

The window is beautiful. Your children are so blessed to have a mother that takes so much pride in caring for her home and family.
She believed she could, so she did 👏🏻 Beautiful window!!
OK...I’M IN LOVE!!!!! The window turned out spectacular!!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love the way your children are taking it all in their stride; my sons were the same; they thought all of our homes came with a dumpster!

The deep window reminds me of a house we rented in Ireland made of thick stone walls. It’s beautiful! Love the candid shots at the end. Blessings.
