Nice information.
Thank you!
I think I saw one of your rose videos before and was searching for it but couldn't find it, till I saw this video. Great results on your plants, and thank you for all the information. Do you buy your fertilizers from agritell by any chance? Also, subscribed! :)
Thank you So much for your words n for your support, much appreciated and I am sorry for the late reply. Just, I have responded to each of your comments :-)
Agritell - I try to buy product mostly from local stores and buy online if it's not available offline. Honestly saying, haven't tried anything from Agritell yet. But, I might need to as experimenting many new things and neither all are available in my place, nor in Amazon.
@@GardeningUpbeat Thank you for all your videos and for the responses, I have learnt quite a bit from you :)
Same issue here, I buy most of them from Amazon and some cannot find anywhere so substituted them, but luckily have most of the fertilzers required :)
btw, I dont remember if you have tried hydrogen peroxide for germination and seedlings, works really well, maybe you can make a video of it as well
btw, which city are you located? If you're nearby we would meet up and talk about plants lol
@birdbrainsolutions6112, Sorry for the late reply..actually, just today only I saw your reply. RUclips doesn't send any notification for nested comment. Or else, I would have replied you before. I was checking the video today as I linked it from one of my new video. Anyway..get back to your point -

Whats Mustard cke powder made of ? Where can i buy ? Tk you for all yr adv fr Spore! Keep yr videos coming, good jobs.
Sorry for the late reply...Basically, The mustard cake is obtained from mustard seeds after extracting the oil from the seeds. Mustard cakes provide all the essential elements for plant growth such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
>> Where can i buy?
Here in my place (India), they are readily available. But if you are from other place, please see if you can use Mustard Cake powder or not. One of my Subscribers from Australia said me that, it's not allowed over that. Obviously it's a good source of nutrients..but still, I have provided other alternatives for it. Though, it's advertised (here in my place) as it contains all components, basically it contains lots of Nitrogen which helps to plants grow and works really well.
Finally, thank you So much for your words and really appreciated for your encouraging words, Happy Gardening :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat tk u for yr info.
Taakat Bio fertilizer is advised for foilar spray a/w drenching of soil.
Ur views on foliar spray will facilitate.
Recommended dose of Takat is 1ml - 3ml for foliar spray in 1 liter water and 5ml in 1 liter water to apply directly in the soil. I actually prefer to apply the main fertilizers (like TAKAT) directly in the soil. For other things like - Micro-nutrients and Growth promoter, spraying on leaves works fine.
@@GardeningUpbeat Thanks for reply. But i was not seeking dose, but to know whether foilar spray will be better or soil drenching.
Oh..ok, NP :-) Soil drenching is much better in my opinion n this is what I do unless I am using Micro-nutrients or Growth Promoter like Super Sonata..thank you!
Sir, thanks for the information. Can I do pruning of my rose plant now in mid April, my location is in madhya pradesh.
You are most Welcome and Sir is actually not necessary. Of course we can Prune in April..I did this video (ruclips.net/video/W3jHpf4G3jc/видео.html) in Summer just because I was not happy with my Rose plants. Please note - I am from Guwahati and temp in my place is bit lower here than your place. Not too much lower either, it's too hot in Summer and Roses actually do much better in Winter. So, please prune your plant only if you are ready to take very good care of it. Or else, plant may die.
@@GardeningUpbeat 🙏🙏
Plz share abt how to maintain soil soft?
After frequent watering once in 5 days, soil is becoming hard or tight.
What is the reason for becoming the soil tight?
Hi brother, question please...does theeta have a chemical smell? I tried using tafgor and it's very smelly, I have small child so I'm avoiding chemical pesticide, thank you
Yes, it does but not stronger like Tafgor. Now a days, I don't use Chemicals at all. Get too much headache after using them, the smell is horrible. I used to use Roket.
For less smell, you can try using Exodus Plant Protector (available on Amazon). It's organic and works well. Plus, have less smell than Theeta. As you have child, please avoid using Chemicals. They are really dangerous..sending lots of love to your child :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat thank you so much 👍👍👍
Do you need to wet the soil before applying any liquid fertilizer? I was thinking moist soil would help the liquid to travel deeper into the pot. Otherwise you would have to use alot of liquid fertilizer to drench the entire pot?
Should the neem, mustard cake and bonemeal be applied monthly?
Yes or at least once in 45-60 days, thank you!
Please also share on how to care rose during extreme heat .Mine is in El Nino Zone and roses are struggling...please help....Mr.
Sure...I am working on it and very soon I would upload detailed video. As you are facing issue, please try to protect them too much direct sunlight if possible. Keep applying fertilizers and insecticide. Once in 45 days to 2 months, you can use growth promoter. I would cover all the info..but said here as you are getting issues...
@@GardeningUpbeat Thank you so much for your reply.I ll be waiting for Vid,too..
Sir can I mix dap with ground nut cake along with neem cake and also epsom salt. Pls advise me.

You are most welcome and thank you So much for your feedback :-)
Soo beautiful informative video friend 😮
Thank you so much 🙂
Hi sir ...iam from hyderabad ...iam not able to get more leaves on my rose plants...plz suggest
Hi. Are you using DAP fertilizer? Is it safe for the rose plant?
Jyada doge to plant jalega ye chemical fertilizers he avoid chemical fertilizers jisse ap jitne bhi fertilizer lagaye jaise vermicompost mustard cake neem cake Epsom salt sab ka power kam hojayega dap dalne se flower acche se are he per growth nahi badega use takat and vermicompost only
My both rose plants are nor growing well. Very less growth I can see. While potting mix is fine with 40 % compost, 30 % sand and 30 % soil and some bone meal.. What to do please guide me
Can I do rose pruning in monsoon after repotting ??
Please avoid unless it's extremely important..like, branched got damaged because of disease. Uploading one video today about Summer and Monsoon Rose Care. Please check out that video once (would go live after 15 minutes)..
@@GardeningUpbeat and sir one more thing how to protect cuttings in monsoon because most of the time they rot!! Please make a video on that too highly request you!!
@@GardeningUpbeatthank you very much!!
Hello gardening upbeat!!
What is the best size of pot for rose plant i have terracotta pot of 8 inch (same size you shown in video which you did pruning of) and another is around 12 inch??
12 or 14 is better and we can get lots of flowers :-) Later I shifted the plant to 14 inch pot after pruning. Thank you!
@@GardeningUpbeat okayy sir thanks!! But 2 of my plants are like very small and don't have more than 2 branches so can i plant them in small pots (actually i have soil shortage 😅🌿)
Obviously you can...At this time, you can just let them grow well in small pots, provide essential nutrients and once they have overgrown the pot, you can shift to bigger pots. Soil shortage - no worry, it happens with all of us 😅 😅 and sir is not required actually! Good luck!
@@GardeningUpbeat thank you!!
Can you suggest any soil on amazon because here at my place I'm getting only wet soil!!
Most welcome! Soil - Honestly saying, it would be bit difficult to recommend one as I haven't tried yet :-( I recommend only those products which I use myself. But, TrustBasket looks good..their products are usually good.
How many days gap is needed between takat and super sonata fertilizer
You can apply as you like, both can be applied on the same day too. Just please remember the interval and avoid using Super Sonata too much..becomes leggy..
Sir i got 2 rose plants yesterday from nursery so when should i prune them (they are not bushy that's why)!!
Plz avoid at present..might get fungus attack! Better to prune in Sept-Oct as mentioned in the video. Newly bought plant..and so, it would take some time adjust. Good luck and Sir is not required actually!
Where do we find the products you use in this video for your roses, Super Sonata, Takat and Theeta??
From Amazon 😊
@GaleBatesmymentorbiz, I see you are from USA and I don't think these would be available over there (I refereed to Amazon India)..We can replace them with any other products that do the same. Super Sonata - Growth promoter, Takat - and organic fertilizer that works well. Theeta - Bio-pesticide.
Hope that helps and thank you for watching :-)
THANK YOU @@GardeningUpbeat
Can we grow our roses in cocopeat. With feeding.
Possible..but, you would need to feed every week..I know it's doable because one of my friend already did it. But, need too much care and need to follow strict feeding routine..
I am from Rajasthan. Can i do pruning of my rose plant now.. and please if possible can i share my plant pictures for your guidance
This is not ideal time but definitely you can do soft pruning..You can send me pics at gradeningupbeat[at]gmail.com Please replace [at] with @, Thank you!
@@GardeningUpbeat thank you so much sir.. i will send pictures
Hi brother, question please...all my roses are in the ground.. should I apply the same amount of fert or add more? Also can I do hard pruning if there is no leaves in rose? I'm currently staying in Kerala and we got alot of rain here please advice ...thank you so much for this video ...this is all I need❤❤❤❤
It's great to hear that all of your plants are in ground. You can actually apply more amount..but, it's always better to start with lower dose.
Hard pruning - please do from the middle of Sept, not now! I am from Guwahati and climate is almost same as Kerala. It's raining here too..almost everyday!
At this time, you can just keep spraying Theeta Organic Pesticide so that there won't be any disease (once in 7-10 days). Along with that, you can use Super Sonata (once in 40-45 days) It's okay even if you don't apply fertilizers in August month. Whatever we do, they don't do well during this time of year because of continuous rainfall. Start working from Sept and enjoy lots of flowers in Winter :-)
Finally, thank you so much for your words, much appreciated!
@@GardeningUpbeat you're the best!! Thank you so much ❤️
Can we prune and repot in April month
Of course we can do that..I did this video (ruclips.net/video/W3jHpf4G3jc/видео.html) in Summer just because I was not happy with my Rose plants...
Anything instead of saaf? I mean natural soultion,i have tried turmeric but didn't worked out
Saaf ke Bina bhi chalega
Wood ash is also good
Best pot size for rose plant?
For bigger 8 to 10 inch
After 1 year 10 to 12 inch
After 2 year 12 to 14 inch
After 3yera 14 to 16 inch
Sir please can you share a newly bought rose reporting video?
Sorry for the late response..I did this video long back and here is the link - ruclips.net/video/xvTOm4MADdQ/видео.html

My climbing red rose is not flowering at all. It is green snd lushy but without any buds. I trued Dap, mustard cake and many other fertilisers but of no use. Could you please help me on this
Same issue.....please provide some solution
Climbing Rose - Hmm..want to be honest and I don't have any. It's because, they are not available in my place and they are actually not that suitable to environment like India (Assam - my state). They need much cooler weather, if I am not wrong. Anyway, it's on my list of things to do and I would definitely collect Climbing Rose plants if I spot any. Also, there are lots of plants that I want to grow...but environment doesn't allow me.
But still, if you have done everything and it's growing well, I believe you would just need to wait. As per my knowledge, they only bloom once in a year and it is when the temp and environment is suitable. Plz feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Good luck with your plants and hope they bloom soon :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat Thanks for the reply. I just pruned them twice and now they started flowering ☺️
Sir few days back monkey's ate all my new rose plants leaves....they all were producing new growth but now only few stems are remaining... what can do now too get them back in shape please help
Sir is actually not necessary and thank you for watching the video..again, sorry for taking time to reply :-( I believe, you would need to protect your plants from Monkey first..As your Roses were producing new shoots, they would do it again :-) Please make sure to feed them on regular basis and they are going to do well. To protect from Monkeys, you can use steel net (available on Amazon), thank you!

Sir please make a video on Ranunculus
It's a Winter flowering plant and doesn't do well if winter temp is not low :-( I already tried many times..they sprout and grow well but don't bloom because winter temp is not too low in my place. Place like Kashmir, Himachal or even Delhi winter is great to grow them. Anyway, I haven't given up yet and would try again this year. Same for Tulip, Saffron..they also manage to sprout but don't bloom :-( Thank you and Sir is not required actually!

@@GardeningUpbeat okay bro
Bro i bought a anthium plant a day befor .but now the leafs gets slightly burn . Here the temperature is little high as usual.i keept my plant inside my home .give me some ideas for this condition
Anthurium shoube be kept under under indirect Sunlight..they can't tolerate direct Sunlight. Or else, leaves would get burned! Same way, they also won't do well inside your home if light is not enough! They need bright light (but not hot airflow).
Feedback: Please try to include more ttroubleshooting methods when making a video about a particular plant
Thank you very much for your feedback..Sorry to say, I didn't get exactly what you referred as "more troubleshooting methods". Can you plz clarify if you are referring to - more alternatives option, like fertilizers or other thing or it's about including more problems...thank you!
But now in April month, can we Repot Rose plant?
Sure, we can but result may not be like winter. I do it in Summer also if I find any issue in my plants. For example, this was done in Summer - ruclips.net/video/W3jHpf4G3jc/видео.html
Can u advice us on how to save a dying plant from bottom of its cane?
Looks quite difficult and most probably the entire root system got rotten because of soggy soil, too compact soil or because of lack of direct sunlight. If you still have the plant, you can try repotting once with fresh soil. Get rid of all the old soil and try to repot in fresh soil. Hope, it would come back...long back, I did a video about it and if you like, feel free to check it out here - ruclips.net/video/YL1Nu5wzCl8/видео.html
