Dominique may not be as great or legendary as Bird and Magic, but he is EASILY the most underrated superstar of all time in the NBA. Dude was an absolute unit.
When Nique took a hop step with a two handed dribble about to leap off two feet, there were other places better to be than between him and the rim. Sometimes when he did, he would yell out a "whoop" and you knew he was fixing to fly. I saw him live at the Omni, and recognize a couple of these plays. Also, the sound live was intense.
Glad to see you pay respect to his overall game...he was underrated as a total package scorer because his dunks are what people remember. Keep up the great content man.
Doma! When I played back in the early 90s all my friends called me Dominique because I dunked with so much power and I loved to do the windmill dunk! I even gave my daughter Dominique as her middle name.
He was one of the most athletically dominant players I've ever seen. Plus he had skill, focus, determination, and wasn't going to be intimidated by anyone.
@@BU_TV He dunked on every center he faced I think. Think of a big center in his era and you can find footage of him two handing one. Nique feared no man at the rim.
I got to meet him in 87 at Coplands in Stockton got his autograph. One of my all time players but was never the same after the Achilles injury. They just couldn't beat the beasts of the east in the playoffs
At 4:20 that wasn't Spud Webb...it was #25 Doc Rivers...he started off with the Hawks, spent many years there as the starting point...Spud was the backup, and was used a lot for tempo!
Dominique was the Greatest athlete the NBA ever produced ! I have him # 12 on my top 20 list ! I’d have him higher if he had some hardware ! He just could not get past Bird in the playoffs !
… yeah coodos on his dunk over Larry ! But , keep it real , Wilkins could never get past Bird in the playoffs and bird always had his way with Dominique ! He will tell you that himself !

Thanks! Appreciate it

I feel like my bone shatter when he dunks
@@BU_TV He probably posterized all the greats more than once.

Fantastic player, there is a reason why his nickname was "The Human Highlight Film" 😁

Its the hardware that many greats lack
7:07 was Jack Sikma, not Larry Bird.
According to Anthony Edwards , Jordan was the only athlete player back then lol.
Anthony needs a muzzle
You need to hear the story behind the dunk on Larry. You'll love it.

@@howdoicancel6760 Well Dominque has some really good stories of Larry. They are really good ones.
Whats the story!?!?
