Yes, and in 1997, most people didn't even have the Internet, at least at home. Mobile phones were only starting to appear. I was running a bar/restaurant back then, from 1995 on, and IT students from the town's university had brought about a dozen salvaged computers and got us a modem, so it was the first "cybercafé" (or rather, an ordinary café-restaurant with internet access) in the small German Land I was living in, back then. RUclips or Facebook didn't even exist, yet, and it wasn't at all like it is today (also, how slow it was...). The only big thing there was where people could communicate was the IRC (Internet Relay Chat), kinda like a very primitive Discord. But it was great fun, and only the coolest people even knew about it. And it was in this place where I was introduced to Rammstein, somebody had brought the album "Sehnsucht" and we would listen to it a lot, especially the song "Engel", at maximum volume, with the entire building shaking. 🤣

Till must have a vocal coach who taught him how to better sing, it's pretty obvious, it's also noticeable in the way he breathes when he sings, and how he uses different techniques, something he didn't do during the first 2 - 3 years.

Going off of the date of this interview, Till was 34, Paul was a couple months away from 33, Schneider was 31 and Flake was about a month away from turning 31 himself, Richard had just turned 30 a few months before, and Olli, the baby, was 26. I’m older than they all were at this point, and they’ve still been around for most of my life.
Honestly D you should know by now to take everything they say in interviews with a pinch of salt, especially Paul and Flake. 😂 And yes it was cutting peat that Till was referring to - it's a type of fuel.
Rammstein have never expressed any opinions about their lyrics. They're simply the messengers of others opinions and behaviours.

Every band member is in their 60's And they still kick ass , they still fill arenas all around the world cause they know what they're doing
