Oh boy a stepside! And right in my old neighborhood haha I recently moved out of Knoxville TN after 18 years. Beautiful place to live. That step side tail gate is valuable! I put a lock on mine just to be safe. That bed cover (and tail gate) is specific to the step side, someone is definitely looking for that stuff.
Looked like a pretty nasty front hit. The bed cover might have slid forward on impact. I use to go to a local junk yard but the prices started going up and then they finally closed down. I saw an S10 at a junk yard one time that had been t-boned. Driver's side door was bent all the way to the frame. There was no way somebody walked away from that truck. I always pray when driving my S10 that I don't get hit. There isn't much to protect from impacts.

Your correct sir I sold my 02 crew cab 4 months Ago! I still miss it. Was a fun project!

Would be interesting to know what they charge for that tail gate. Up here they charge 50 bucks
