And to the Chairman Professor Atsu Ayee, l liked your brief but succinct remarks that summarised the best and important themes of the over one hour presentation. Wonderful and well done both of you. Very thought provoking and highly educative. On the lighter note, I think the hall needs some painting.

Thank you Prof. Kofi Agyekum and GAAS for this insightful lecture that analyzes African/Ghanaian culture from the perspective of indigenous resistance through Ephraim Amu. A powerful approach to both question and to preserve our dignity, identity, and overall culture as Ghanaians and Africans within cultural globalization and imperialism.

Without English, I don’t think Ghanaians will know how to speak.
Ghanaians will all be walking around giving sign language to each other.

This would have been great if we had done this in our own language instead of a foreign language, the English language. Ghana should wake up and stop the upliftment of foreign languages instead of our own languages. You are honoring an indigenous statesman who is known by old and young as a great man of our land but you are using a foreign language to do so. I do not know when Ghana and for that matter Africa will wake up from our slumber it is becoming one of too many mistakes that we have not made any effort to change since time immemorial ouhhh mother Ghana hmmmnnnn.
