Very investing and insightful. Appreciate the time it goes into this. I have add so can never fonosh books like this myself. This helps a lot. I’m a newish follower, not sure if you answer questions like this. I’m a American in NZ. We want to transfer some cash for a home deposit here in NZ now to take advantage of the current high conversion rate. 1usd =1.5 nzd. But we won’t be buying a home for 1-2 years. What ways can I invest this NZD relatively safely but still beat inflation? Nzx?
I recently just finished that book. It was a good read. It took me a month to read it. However, there is a lot of insight there that has made me think more deeply about things.
Great insights Tom, many thanks! It’s quite sure Warren did a lot more work than buying great companies - activist investment, research, unlocking shareholder value, lots of reading, buying cigar butts etc. That’s why we love to learn the process, there’s so much more to it that 1/2 factors!
Hi Tom , thanks for the video. speaking of special situation opportunities , have you checked HRBR ? interested to learn about your views around this opportunity.

Tom, Warren, Charlie are good Americans. I'm learning from you a lot how to make my first USD million.

What's your favourite early Buffett or Munger investment?
You look like a young Guy Spier, that split screen is like a time portal.

Very very interesting, many thanks for the informative video
I agree, my big takeaway from The Snowball was how much leg work Buffett did with his investments, far beyond research.
The man didn't stop working
When will Guy hire you? 👍
To go skiing with him?
