thats so awesome. i have a guitar im making right now and its currently unfinished. i have a local guy who says he can do some cool stuff like that for me. he says that he can do th ecustom stuff before i finish the guitar. but the thing is i dont know if itll show through the solid white finish i plan to do. anyone know about this stuff?
despite it being a video, I almost feared I would mess the guy up with his lines >_> I would've hated to stand next to the guy and make him mess up X_X
so you are applying 1-Shot lettering enamel over the original enamel of the guitar? how permanent is this? do you have to add anything over it? does it smear?
Nope, but bands shouldn't have it, and striping should. Look I'm not trying to be mean, I just think the object that's being accented is more the issue. Guitars are generally fairly beautiful. What one doesn't do is more important than what you do add, and that's a hard thing to learn.. I mostly don't care for striping, but have several friends and colleagues who do it well, check out John Hannukaine, Todd Hanson, Russ Mowry,Bob Behounek-- SignCraft magazine is a good place to find 'em.
its all about technique and talent...salute!!
Great job! I will get my Gibby Explorer pinstriped, love that look.

Way too busy IMHO....
Doesn't match the Danelectro 60's look though...
Southern rock is synonymous with Country. Sorry. It sucks. Cool guitar, though.
