I liked the reaction of the lady to the limpia , to me she was NOT disrespectful , she looked surprised and happy , very natural , like a person who receives a limpa for the first time - I liked the healer too : strong and traditional and motherly
So thankful for these kind of videos! I’m from Peru but I’ve noticed most of these traditions live in the andean/quechua countries and it’s exactly the same as the cleanses I would get as a kid. I appreciate all the hard work of these ladies and the people who run this channel!

Creo que es porque la limpia es un poco ruda, por así decirlo, parece que a la chica le cuesta mantenerse calmada cuando le levanta el suéter constantemente o le da con la planta en la cara. Sé que es parte de la limpia, pero a algunas personas les puede parecer excesivo e incómodo

Ashley there’s this belief in latam that people can genuinely give someone the “evil eye” and that will bring bad energies, this is most commonly seen with babies which is why they usually wear a red beaded bracelet. Also i would get a lot of cleanses as a baby because i would constantly fall off the bed/hurt myself which would lead to nightmares 😅
Arcadian 2.0 the egg rubbing is supposed to rid your body of evil spirits and cracking the egg in the water forms patterns which can have different meanings: anxiety, someone being jealous, “aire” (i still dont know what this one is supposed to mean but i would always get it in a cleanse)

@@locureshdaryel2573 the only thing to me is this type of cleansing, its not made on the body but chakras, so there's no need to keep touching her like that, she could do it over her shirt, this is cultural tradition doesn't mean they are clean at all, sometimes it's just something they had to do, passed by each generation.. sorry for bad english not native speaker

In the Amazonian region it is done by men, who are shamans, but in the Sierra or mountainous region the tradition is a little different and it is done almost exclusively by women, based on ancestral knowledge and herblore past down from generation to generation...

Apparently, the egg absorbed whatever negative energies she had. And then they look at it to see what those negative energies were. (Also, if you shake an egg and crack it into a glass of water, there will be bubbles: it's physics.)
What's in the spray bottle? Every limpia video I watch has people react strongly to it so it must be a very potent scent.

I dont know what exactly they look for, but after the rubbing of the egg, it's supposed to absorb the aura of the person, and will show what is wrong with them through discolorations and the way it creates bubbles

Right, I completely understand you. To really enjoy the sound, especially for those looking for an ASMR trigger, a quiet location is often (but not always) better. The public markets, however, have that touch of being authentic, as it is the markets where these traditional healers have plied their trade for centuries. As for the crying babies, yes, of course you are right, I try to avoid them as far as possible, but these locations where "limpias" are done are usually full of babies whose parents have brought them to get rid of the "evil eye"... Really appreciate your feedback, it helps improve future content 😁
