Dan's videos are coming up on my feeds as well. I didn't get around to seeing this the first time but it sure brought tears to my eyes. I just want Lin to know she is so loved and that she has a heap of hugs from New Zealand and all around the world. Plus it doesn't help for me that I miss my older son so much who is on his OE in England and I haven't seen him for five years cause I'm not a good saver. Anyway enough of me and my tears :(

I never looked sick either or lost my hair . But you know what? This could be anyone's last holiday with loved ones if they have cancer or not. We only have today in actuality. Tomorrow is not promised to ANYONE. Live to the fullest everyday. Someone who doesnt have cancer may drop dead of a heart attack or hit by a truck! Having cancer, at least gives people like us the opportunity to stop....think and look within, grow, become a better human being. We FEEL everything so intensely. sadness to happiness You are a beautiful human being. Embrace all your feelings because nothing is wrong. I remember coming to the realization that everything will be ok not only for me but everyone who loves me, even if I die. Its all ok. Everything is as its suppose to be. Always! You had a great day with your family today. AWESOME! Go to bed and tell yourself, today was great.

But that is not the point! I am 40 and have no diagnosis of any life limiting illness, so I have a CHANCE to live much longer. Something Dan never had! It's about that chance not about that fact that everybody has to die at some point.
This video aswell as this comment has finally made me realise that everything i wantt too do in life i need to not have second thoughts and do it. I now see money as not something too save forever, but something too use to get the enjoyment i want from life. Thank you so much for this comment. You may have just changed my entire approach to my life.

it broke my heart to hear your mum agree that this could be the last mothers day you celebrate together. I feel as though loved ones are often overlooked in this type of situation, and although they are not going through the trauma physically, they do have a lot of the mental effects :(
As a mother and a grandmother seeing this for the first time (and after Dan passed away) brought me too tears 💔

So sad you're being asked for this. I will say that I have been a victim of giving to scams and I consider myself to be fairly intelligent. I have not a shadow of a doubt that your case is unfortunately the truth, 1,000%. The pain in your Mother's eyes was all the proof I need. Happy Mother's Day to her. She is worthy of joy and happiness today and always. Love you guys and constantly in my thoughts and prayers.

😍 ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ After hearing the sad news about Daniel today. I just found this in my recommended and feel like I was supposed to rewatch this today. Always admired your relationship with your mum and other close family members you were all very blessed with your family. This video has taught me at the end of it all what is really important and that's family and the love and relationships we share and build in life. What else really matters other then the ones we love. Thank you Dan. Still making us realise that and laugh after your passing ♥ hearts 💕

How utterly gutwrenching it must be for a mother to admit aloud that she will likely lose her child soon, and then to put a smile on her face (for his sake) and say that they will just make the best of it. Your mother is so brave, and I can tell that she is trying so hard to be strong for you. I feel a pain deep in my heart for both of you. Such nice people. Cancer is so horrid.
Nakidz yes, this literly brought tears to my eyes. i have 3 sons myself and i know the love and bond a mom feels for her son is unique and one of the strongest forces that exist. her strength and grace is absolutely amazing. she knows her baby is very sick and i know she would trade places with him without even a single thought but she cant. so she does the only thing she can.. supports him in his fight with pure and honest love.. i so want him to come to the states for treatment..

I'm watching some of his older videos again, trying to deal with his loss, but it's certainly not easy. This one brought on the tears. Such a lovely mom and loving family. I'm so sorry for the grief they are experiencing right now and my heart goes out to each and every member of Dan's family and to his close friends. Rest in your new Heavenly home, Buddy.

What a lovely Mother's Day you had with your mum. I went to see my sister and have a cuppa with her (because my mum died in 2012, so my sister's my closest relative now). My daughter took her son to the theatre, so she had a great day too. It's your willpower that is keeping you going. My brother had all different kinds of cancer since he was 11. I gave him bone marrow when he was 19. Just died last year. But put an good fight. Even though he was in pain most of his life he never gave up. But sadly died at age 50. Was the dravest person I will ever no. Keep fighting
