@dc_predator Well thats the bad part, i took 2. My buddy took 1. There were several that we saw but would not get in open to shoot. And very first stand did not know 2 were watching us 100 yards away untill we stood to walk away and watched them stand up and leave. They were skiddish. Will hit up that spot again when colder and they are hungry
@@jdotgee88 Keep trying. Be patient. Use the wind. Try to conceal yourself and stay still and quiet. We have most of our success with rabbit distress. Sunrise and sunset are prime time for coyotes.
@@dc_predator thanks man! I’ve been getting more luck with long howls and interrogation calls as far as them atleast coming in. But I’ll go back out this weekend and be more aggressive with cottontail calls
@jdotgee88 there is a recent podcast on "texas predator hunting" it's something like lessons learned predator hunting... its worth checking out. The learning curve can be a few years or even more. Don't get discouraged. Here in utah, the state offers a bounty. Coyotes are super educated because people thought they could make a living off coyote hunting. It only made me work harder ... success is on the horizon if you stay dedicated. Dustin White
I went out yesterday. Called in 10 coyotes in 10 stands. Was a very good morning.
how many did you put down?
