Yes, ours are MLOK. You might have to switch to a different handguard. Also, if you have a Troy upper too, it might not be compatible with most of the MLOK handguards. I learned that the hard way. You might consider a complete upper.

There are plenty of predators for the mice, snakes and rabbits. Nothing preys on the coyotes. Coyotes also prey on the large game.

@@kevinmartin2096 We usually hunt areas where we can call them in close. Our average shot is about 75 yards. We also always shoot suppressed. So we use shorter barrels for maneuverability and weight savings. Most of our rifles are 16” or 18”.

@ OK I live up in Montana and we kind of range between super close like that and then sometimes way out to 500 yards

@ Kevin Brittingham, the founder of Q, makes a great case for shorter barrels. For me it comes down to how often I need to make longer shots. If it is rare, I’d rather not carry a long barreled rifle around on my hunt. However, if I routinely need to take longer shots, I’d take a longer barrel.

@@elMusico221 It depends on the angle they give you. Typically you aim at or just behind the shoulder. This coyote was facing the shooter so the point of aim was in the center of the chest.

@@justbaggit70 Good job on the bobcat! Some days the coyotes just refuse to come in to the call. They let you see them , but they won’t commit.

I go to AZ every year in January or February for coyotes.... a cat slipped in a wash, and i never saw it again last feb. maybe I'll get lucky this Jan with a cat.🤞🏻... appreciate the content! @@dc_predator I hunt in Central North Dakota. Pup distress or pup fights after distress calls. Distress calls work better after a snow storm or during a period of bitter cold. A lot of hunting pressure in this area.
