Oh Steve, you shouldn't have ratted out the guy about the size increase on this video! You know he was going to wear the jacket to his reunion telling everybody "Yeah, my wife got it repaired, and it still fits too!!! I haven't gained a pound!". 😂
You did an awesome job! Rusty is my cousin and his wife Dee presented it to him for his birthday/“retirement” party 02/24/2024. He was really surprised and super excited. You absolutely amazed EVERYONE there with the time, patience, and apparent your love for what you do. Keep up the good work and may you continue to be able to do what you do.
This is why I don't regard Steve as just a cobbler. He's a leathersmith and he restores/repairs leather items to a platinum standard. He is one of the best of the best in his craft. ⭐⭐⭐
I know they're not your favourites Steve but I'm here mostly for the bags and jackets. I must have watched all of them now and love the reveals at the end. There's just something about your videos... not overproduced, no annoying background music. Just a seriously skilled guy, some easy going humour and wholesome endings ❤
Happy Birthday Rusty!! Absolutely incredible transformation Steve! You have outdone yourself yet again!! I cant wait to show you how I transform the Buccaneers Jacket I sent you photos of! Its gonna come out amazing!
It´s such a pleasure to watch you work! I´m full of admiration for you showing the "hiccups" too. You really worked magic on this jacket! It´s a bit sad it still is a little small on the owner, but this wasn´t your fault at all. You did the size 46 that was asked for while I assume the owner meanwhile needs a couple of sizes more.
Steveroo, your patience doing this work never ceases to amaze me...! I mean taking the collar apart and reassembling to get the non faded material on the outside and new backing on the patches is just some of the proof of your patience doing this work.... This jacket was toast until you got ahold of it...! Unbelievable... I'll say it again, "You are the Master"...Greg
That was excellent. Great job on the Jacket, I did not even know that was possible to do, a lovely gesture from the lads wife, and a smashing reaction ta boot.
I have to wonder where and how that was being stored, to have degraded to that point? Hmm! It’s so difficult to come across someone of this skill level locally.
Steve you do excellent work, and you came up with some clever solutions to some troubling problems such as covering the snaps with the yellow skived leather and reversing the fabric to get an unfaded color. Unfortunately the jacket did not fit, the dude was not a 46, probably 2 more sizes bigger. I’m not sure if you could have increased everything to that size. One minor comment is that I would have sewn in a color matched fabric facing on the pocket bag, so you don’t see the white contrasting with the shell or the welts. I think for a project like this, you really need a set of measurements or a similar jacket that you can use to check for specifications and fit. Overall, still some awesome work!
Great job as always your a cobbler and one of the best I’ve seen this far but not a miracle maker to my knowledge a 46 is equivalent to 2xl the owner has to be at least a 3xl-4xl tops heck maybe even a 3xt but great job he can pass it down to his wife or children etc
Steve has all the gimmicks. Sharpening disposable razors. Hammer time. Coffee . Trying on jackets. Is there anything that he can't do? Maybe he could help Pablo The Cobbler come up with a gimmick.
Omggg yesssss!!! I needed this!! When I saw your post, I thought, please please please be a video!!! I knew it!!! I will comment again for sure after I finish the video!!
What a great job Steve. You made him and his wife so happy and the memories that were brought back. May I ask what something like that costs? I'm sure it was well worth it. Thank you for the video, be well, be safe, God Bless.
When you first opened that box, I was worried you were going to say "We're replacing the leather, replacing the fabric, replacing all the snaps... but we're keeping the cuffs and patches!" 😁 In other words, would you take a job that involved making a complete replica, just re-using a few small parts or trim?
Awesome awesome job. The extension on the sleeves looks really good. Also, I have a question for you: When you have to saw the sleeves to the main body of the jacket,do you glue the two pieces on the seam? Or yo just hold it in place by hand and stitch it?
I'm not a fat (hate that word) or size fascist, but she got his size all wrong. With the effort you put in, that jscket could have fitted. I love that yellow, and this video was much better than the last, but still things missing.
My brother-in-law was so excited to put this jacket on last night at his Birthday/Retirement Party. Great job!❤
How was the fit

That wife is definitely a keeper!
Keeping his old jacket that is falling apart only to get it so nicely restored!

@@EDHBlvd Absolutely, 100% agree with you.
So it's the dude's 60th. He's gonna love this❤
It was so delightful to see the owner donning his restored jacket.

Another great video. The gold was definitely the right choice. Love the detail of the leather covered snaps.
What a jacket! Excellent job! 👍😎 And great to see the customers reaction!
I love the shoe videos but I also love seeing different stuff like this! Great job Steve!

Thank you for another great video!! Love the t shirt 😊😊😊
Well done, Doctor! The surgery went perfectly again.
I would worry I'd put the patches back in the wrong places. Always best to take photos or video first.
All ways great to see you restore old memory items. God. Bless you. Thank you for sharing your videos Aper 🇦🇲👍
When I saw the colors of the Jacket I knew it was from Louisiana. We all bleed purple and gold down here💜💛 You did an excellent job as always 😊

Steve, l like how you gave the customer the option on the color. Very nice work my friend.
The excitement on his face was priceless.
You can tell how many days the video was filmed by looking at the watch on Steve's hand😀. Great job! Hi, Steve!
Awesome job Steve. All I can say is Patience is a Virtue. 🙂
What a great gift having it brought back to life like that. Finely done.
Class of '82, huh? I was a Junior in HS then. Thanks!
That was excellent. Great job on the Jacket, I did not even know that was possible to do, a lovely gesture from the lads wife, and a smashing reaction ta boot.
Awesome Steve this jacket repair is so good someone is going to be very happy ❤
Awesome shirt Steve… Oh yes great job as well friend 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Outstanding & it looked spectacular! That purple & gold popped!!
Another great job Steve
Beautiful work! I’m breaking out my Letterman Jacket. Class of 1987 😊
I have to wonder where and how that was being stored, to have degraded to that point? Hmm!
It’s so difficult to come across someone of this skill level locally.
That's awesome Mr Bedo. You made that man very happy ! Great work.
I love the gold leather. Another great project Steve 👍
Beautifully done, as usual! The owner is going to love it!

Like your Rocky t-shirt!!!
It didn't look that good when it was new...ANOTHER REALLY FINE JOB, AS ALWAYS.
Fantastic!

Steve nice work sir. That jacket turned out amazing! Happy Birthday Rusty
nice job looks great,
An amazing piece of artistry, as usual. The work you do is incredible.

A very "well-loved" letter jacket! Those sleeves were in tragic shape. As usual, your work was meticulous and very detailed!
GREAT JOB
Looks brand new, Steve. Awesome!
Very nearly an example of Theseus' Ship Paradox
I consistently get hyped whenever you post. Keep up the good work man
Awesome.
Looks a bit like 46 could be a bit shy of actual. A truly great wife!
Amazing
As always, your soul is evident in the result. Well done. Cool watch. I'll see if I can find one if you give me some details. Thanks man.
Another outstanding job👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I did not earn a jacket (only sports teams got those. You did a stunning job for him.
.es un trabajo artístico, genial saludos desde cartagena Colombia
You really are an extradentary seamstress kudos to a job well done.
Great job, Steve!
I love your works!❤👍
Omggg yesssss!!! I needed this!! When I saw your post, I thought, please please please be a video!!! I knew it!!! I will comment again for sure after I finish the video!!
Sorry he is not a 46, maybe 56 or 58, he is a big dude. your work was again AWESOME.
No words...........
Alright let’s continue 😂I love these restorations so bad 👍
Magnífico trabalho.
What a great job Steve. You made him and his wife so happy and the memories that were brought back. May I ask what something like that costs? I'm sure it was well worth it. Thank you for the video, be well, be safe, God Bless.
This was $1,100
That was a very fair price for all the work you did. Love to watch the master at work. Looking forward to coffee time. Thanks for the video Steve.
I like to watch
Great job but if you wanted the jacket to fit it is your complete own jacket that you should have added on 🤣🤣
So this is a new jacket.
Good man ye be.
wow
👍👍👍
❤❤❤😊
To the wife, he's still a 48. To the rest of us, slightly more than that.
😊👍

Good job you're adding more material on the sleeves I think this person who owns a jacket is a lot bigger now😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hopefully the next video isn't "Hi this is Steve. Today we're expanding a jacket I just re-did in the last video!". 😁
Awesome awesome job. The extension on the sleeves looks really good. Also, I have a question for you: When you have to saw the sleeves to the main body of the jacket,do you glue the two pieces on the seam? Or yo just hold it in place by hand and stitch it?
I usually start from the top of the shoulder and work my way around
@@BedosLeatherworksLLC thanks for the response!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
that dude was a 46 when he was 12, not currently!
Good grief, how many vynils do you think they had to skin to make those original sleeves?
he was a big boy
Wow,2 " to 2.5 " either side a lot of hot dogs and beverages of ur choice.
Where do you buy leather such as was used for this project?
Hide house in California
i have a 1996 atlanta olympics jacket i need restored
Email me some pictures bedos@yahoo.com
Donde está bedo ?? Esta drinky coffee smoking la hookah 😂😂😂
I'm not a fat (hate that word) or size fascist, but she got his size all wrong. With the effort you put in, that jscket could have fitted.
I love that yellow, and this video was much better than the last, but still things missing.
There was only so much I could do to make it larger
Adding that piece to the short sleeves makes it look very bad. You should have remade sleeves
Craft man
The mildew on that jacket! Get a respirator, please. I've cleaned horse blankets that a horse died in that didn't give me the heebies like that coat.
It’s wasn’t mildew
Thank goodness for that.@@BedosLeatherworksLLC
When the leather cracks like that it's called "dry rot".
@@MichiganCustomCraftworks Yeah, it was the white powder that had me suspecting mildew.
A lot of those letter jackets were made with questionable materials on the sleeves, like all kind of real and fake leathers.
Did they consider buying a new jacket and just transferring the patches over. That exact jacket is still available for purchase.
No that was not an option
That jacket does not fit. It's too small.
SHE SHOULD BOUGHT A NEW JACKET AND JUST PUT THE OLD PATCHHES ON IT. WHAT THIS GONNA COST? WERE'NT THE ORIGNAL SNAPS PIANTED?
WHY ARE YOU YELLING MAN???????
DID YOU PAY FOR IT???????
