Hello 👋 i hope you can see this but I'm having same issue into my laptop it's dell also. With 2 amber 5 white blink. It's working very well without the lower back cover but when you screw it and put the cover back it goes 2 amber 5 white please help i need for study my laptop
This happened to me a few months ago i opened my laptop and took one ram stick out and my laptop turned on now its doing the same thing 5 white lights and 2 amber what do i do now?

Word of advice . NEVER touch the bottom teeth part of your Ram chips always hold it by the sides only.

Done this, didnt work. Switched places, didnt work. Made laptop run with only one ram (both sticks tried), worked.

Laptop won't turn on and no power when I plug in the charging adapter (white light turns on 2 times when I plug in the charging adapter)

Try another known good memory both slots if not work then motherboard need to be repaired or replaced.
