In Lightroom, at the bottom of the workspace, are a line of filters that allow you to sort what is shown in the filmstrip and grid by various factors such as flag status, color label, star rating and so on. At times, these filters disappear. In this video I demo how to get them back and, at the beginning of the video I talk about why I've been doing so many Lightroom oriented videos. I’m always with you Anthony. Watching/listening & doing my best to learn. You can’t do the impossible & be everywhere at the same time. Nobody thinks badly of you. Thank you for explaining your situation. Neville J.
Anthony I have most definitely NOT been putting up with your Lightroom videos recently...I've been loving them! Being much more a photographer than a software person I learn something valuable about Lightroom every time I watch one of your videos despite the fact that I've been using it for many years. As to those wanting more on On One, et. al. watching one of those videos is not high on my must do list because, drum roll please, much as I dislike the Adobe Megacorporation and it's products I am far too busy working as a photographer to be able to spend time learning and relearning and relearning software whose designer always thinks he has a Better Way of doing everything. Which means, of course, that I have to keep guessing about how to do everything. Imagine telling a carpenter that every two years he has to walk down to the end of the pier and throw his toolbox and all his How To books into the sea... If people enjoy playing with tools rather than using them to creative purpose more power to them! But speaking for myself please keep those useful Lightroom Videos coming!
The LR training and tips videos are great - please keep doing them, as much as possible. Also I'd gladly pay for an index of your videos (maybe in a monthly newsletter that gets updated as the index grows) ;-)
Thanks for explaining the Lr excess--I've moved on to On1 RAW so it's been disappointing to go through your newsletter and find nothing I'm interested in watching. But I love your work and am happy to wait for your adobexcess to go away!!!!!!!!
Don't apologize for the Lightroom videos it is still I believe the most used editing software. It really is all I use, and I wouldn't bother watching if it wasn't a Lightroom video
If I have the filters switch turned on (for filter by flag, say) and then close the program (w/cat backup), when LR opens again the filter switch is set to off. Is there a way to make the filter on switch “sticky”? Thanks.

Thanks, keep the short and sweet LR tips going. You other video's are great, but these quick tips are valuable.
I feel like an idiot for not trying that. Thanks for sharing Anthony! We put up with your videos because of how useful they are. Keep it up!
Thank you for all your Lightroom tips, I especially like the hidden Lightroom tips. As an avid Lightroom user, keep shooting!

Don’t apologise for doing lots of Lightroom videos as there are always a lot of people entering this field. They appreciate it
Thank you so much! It was driving me crazy.
Wow must have been ready my mind. Thanks!!!

Thank you! Life saver!
No apologies needed for LR videos. It is still the go-to photography editing software out there.
How can I change the "DEFAULT" import settings from "capture time" to "filename?" I'm sick of it constantly defaulting to something I DO NOT WANT.
thanks, that was actually of great help

OK another LR video. I’m outta here.
John Leftwich well there are a lot of new comers to light room all the time. So it’s relevant. If it’s beneath you then move on
