You truly are inspiring to all and possess such beauty inwardly and outwardly. When I watch your videos, I am reminded of all our Heavenly Father created in the Garden of Eden. Such beauty as never before. The diet of Pulse is what our Creator had intended for all with health benefits of a longer lifespan. May the Lord bless you and keep you always. Much love sent to you and your family ~~🌷🌱
You are a very ressourceful person. You set a great example by using your ressources this way. Gracias. Can you reveal a bit about the budget it takes to make this possible? Best wishes. :)
Wow this is such a beautiful and truly valuable journey that you're on, you guys are greatly inspiring, thanks so much for creating this beautiful video! 🤩✨🌹
I genuinely thought you had quit, and it hurt my heart because my husband and I bought property in Valencia, Spain, and are building our dream food forest and life here. When you become a part of nature, you awaken from the delusion of the capitalistic world order and realize you have no power over the earth. You learn that there will be times when you succeed, such as planting a tree that will bear fruit the following year, and others when you fail. You also learn that even a native plant will dislike the location, and no matter what you do, it will not provide anything, and both are equally significant. You're realizing that you're now one with the creator, and "allowing" is the key to freedom. Never give up, but when you're frustrated with yourself, consider what higher intelligence wants you to take out from this. I'm sending you lots of love and happiness!
Yeah but you've got to keep in mind that in her succeeding at this, it's not just building and enjoying a food forest, she's documenting her life and that gets extremely tiring as well. Life was meant to be lived and this is a job, a lot of filming and video editing and doing the same things over and over and over. It can get as tiring as the so called capitalistic world order. It's not just living life but filming yourself living life. Eventually you need a break from everything.
The best time to plant fruit trees in a Mediterranean climate is in the fall /winter/spring for evergreens (citrus etc) and Dec/Jan/Feb for deciduous trees. They establish easier when it has been through a cooler rainy season. It is a stress for the trees to be transplanted in summer heat and you will also find more selections as well.
Gardening is a never ending series of experiments, learning in the process what grows well in each area and how much each bed needs to be watered and amended. It's all about the soil each plant needs. Greatly appreciate your willingness to show your experiences that both inspires and teaches us.
I was so invested when you were preparing the meal and then you lay the table and it actually brought tears to my eyes , what a massive blessing it is to grow and eat from the land you look after and share with loved ones. Wowww
Living off grid is my dream, and you're living it. I'm Lebanese, and the baba ghanouj dish you made originates from my country. Seeing you make that from your garden is truly epic. Just a tip. Don't blend the eggplant into a very fine paste, keep it slightly pulpy and chunky. Also when serving drizzle some olive oil on the top of the dish. That with some spicy hot pepper powder, and using some nice peta bread as a food shovel .. and oh my lord.
That food looks incredible. Really enjoy watching your videos! Beautiful to see it in the Portuguese countryside as well, as a Portuguese woman myself. 😊
Even through the challenges...magic still prevails....your home and gardens are beautiful and magical. You tell the store so beautifully with your sweet voice. The visual shots of your land and the out lying areas are breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your journey. Sending both of you so much love on your journey with life.
It's taken me 10 years to get our house and garden to where it is now. Many garden ideas have come and gone. My passion is living of the land and living with nature. Since I've been watching you, I've expanded the veggie patch 3 times for veg and flowers 💐 thank you, never give up 😊
Another beautiful video that points out that, sometimes, the most rewarding aspects of life are the ones that take the longest or the most effort. Mother Nature will work at her own time. There is a saying that "patience is a virtue" and that can certainly be the case when gardening. The weather extremes that we are seeing also can raise unexpected challenges along the way. I have found my two small organic gardens to be like laboratories where I can experiment with different plantings, soil mixtures, etc. Sometime it works well and I have a bountiful harvest of beans, cucumbers, or garlic. Other times, the plantings come up empty and I learn from what did not work.
I am so very happy you have not given up your dreams and all that you have invested into the land. I am so inspired and my own inspiration is renewed to continue my own "planting" and "tending" of my life's garden. I am fed in so many ways watching your endeavors, your strength, perseverance and patience doing this one shove at a time! Many blessings to you both!
I'm almost ready to build my garden and maybe get two beehives. Been Offgrid for 5 years now. I'm watching all your videos to hype myself up to get going on the garden and the bees!
Hi. If you ever feel like giving up again...look at the photos taken by the drone...it shows clearly how far you have come. It looks great and the plants are very happy and healthy...congrats🎉🎉🎉
We just moved to a new house and we can't wait to start our garden and fruit orchard. There will be a huge learning curb as we have really cold winters with snow but we are up for the challenge. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you for being an inspiration to all of us! I have learned so much from you and your online gardening guide!:) I am now not feeling discouraged when I have a failure in the garden, but I try to learn from the experience and do better next time. This year has been a strange one for growing in my region (Northeastern US), some things were a complete failure like cucumbers and squash, but some are doing quite well, like tomatoes and beans. It's all a big experiment for me every time and I try to enjoy the process and not get saddened by the setbacks. Hope all the trees you planted do well!💚💚💚
Eugenia, you are such a wise soul. I love it when you are gathering your babies, and there is a big smile of surprise on your face. Thank you both for not giving up and giving all of us a moment of joy. Sending loving and peace-filled thoughts to everyone.
Great video, your garden is producing so much wonderful food and you prepare the healthiest, most esthetically pleasing meals. Obviously it's not over and you have not failed.
Eugenia Diaz you are amazing. No such thing as failure just learning. I find you so inspiring and courageous. I love what you are doing and I am such a fan. You are an amazing human. ❤❤ From strength to strength 💪. Keep going. Love from Australia.
I am doing a big garden project too (not building a house as well, however!) And there have been many times I have felt like I'm failing. I for sure thought I'd have my trees in this past Spring, but it didn't happen for a few reasons, and I thought for sure I'd be more on top of the care of the garden, and that I'd have built a bench, a fence, painted this and that, etc. I want to be better at enjoying the journey. Love your videos so much, Eugenia. I've been subscribed long enough to know that each video holds so much inspiration and hope, I won't be fooled by your titles, I know you are succeeding! ✨🙌❤️ Have a wonderful Sunday.
Dear Eugenia, you said “Nothing changes in your life until you change” - so true!!! 🥰 Lots od love from a small gardener in Croatia🤗 P.S. My garden has dahlias this year thanks to you 😘
Hi Eugenia, I loved to watch your videos, as could relate to you. I am from India and have bought a land in Uttrakhand, India. It's very close to mountains. In 2 to 3 years we plan to build our off grid place but the house would be bigger 😊 and your videos are really inspiring . All the best for your future endeavours 👍
I appreciate you for taking the time so make each video film worthy. I love hearing you tell your story (and as a native English speaker with no real accent, I love hearing your voice in general.) You have made it really far and you've kept me fueled and grounded on my own path.

If I had the means to have or use a tractor with a bucket and all the other helps that cost a fortune, homesteading off the grid, with electricity besides, would be exciting. As it is, I really have had only my own two hands and strong body and I have done a pretty good job of making a kitchen garden and sustainable, wild life, insect and bird nature preserve of our acreage. An idea, create videos to a black screen, like a podcast, or have mp3s for people to download or buy, where you are just talking about different topics or reading/telling stories. (I am learning Swedish, when I go to bed, by listening to a young woman do just that in Swedish.) You have a really soothing voice and your accent is charming. I would love to fall asleep to you reading a story or talking softly like this. It's very calming. (The birds and nature sounds help too. 😉) ❤
really love the beautiful videos and watching the jorney, but these clickbate titles, that have little to do with what actually happens..those just make everything look cheaper, cannot understand why you use them😢
One trick I know from my mom is to never blend eggplants with a metallic blade. Always always always use wood and never overblend. It makes for a super yummy baba ghanoush and prevents it from tasting 'metallic' (as odd as that may sound).
Everyone experiences setbacks but instead of giving up look at how much you learned. We often learn more from our failures than from our successes. In a while after you have absorbed the lessons of your experiences you may be ready to try another adventure. Life at its best is a great adventure and our failures toughen us and prepare us for the future. Don't give up because that is the only way you can truly fail. I wish you well and many brighter days ahead.

We have a saying here "ncane kancane" which means little bit, little bit which is exactly how we build nature back up. Keep going. Sending sunshine from Africa!
Eugénia...please, keep on your dream and do not give up. It is amazing to follow your daily routine listening to your music selection, seeing your amazing garden, your cooking and preparation, your beloved dog and, listen to such beatiful sounds while you are preparing everything 🙏. You are sharing your life with so much serenity. Thank you 🧡
I love your videos, and that it is a mix of garden and lovely cooking. Do you put the recipes up or where you have Found Them? So cute cat and dog. Love when they are in your videos.. Nice Music and filming. ❤
Ok so I saw you crack those eggs 12:01 and all I could think of was you need chickens Eugenia 🥰 they are honestly much more easy to maintain then one would think they’re such little personalities and the gift of eggs that they give is such a blessing. I’m sure it’s something you had planned in the future but they really don’t need a whole lot to get them started and before you know it you’ll have your own eggs 🫶

One trick I know from my mom is to never blend eggplants with a metallic blade. Always always always use wood and never overblend. It makes for a super yummy baba ghanoush and prevents it from tasting 'metallic' (as odd as that may sound).
If this is failure where do I sign up?❤️
Well I am very glad that you did not fail...but I dont understand why you said that you did??
Everyone experiences setbacks but instead of giving up look at how much you learned. We often learn more from our failures than from our successes. In a while after you have absorbed the lessons of your experiences you may be ready to try another adventure. Life at its best is a great adventure and our failures toughen us and prepare us for the future. Don't give up because that is the only way you can truly fail. I wish you well and many brighter days ahead.
Are you able to share where did you buy the compost for trees?
Thank you for your inspiring message 🌸💕

We have a little plot on the soith coast of south africa. It is all about learning to live with the type of nature you have. You have done an amazing job of living with your land. We have a saying here "ncane kancane" which means little bit, little bit which is exactly how we build nature back up. Keep going. Sending sunshine from Africa!
What is the name of the flower plant that produces the long beans?
Eugénia...please, keep on your dream and do not give up.

Maravilllosa as always Eugenia 🙏 Gracias por este contenido precioso, tan cuidado.
Please how do you get water pressure for your water garden hose ?
Your videos are so beautiful. I really appreciate your artistic expression
