Such beauty as never before. The diet of Pulse is what our Creator had intended for all with health benefits of a longer lifespan.
May the Lord bless you and keep you always. Much love sent to you and your family ~~🌷🌱

I genuinely thought you had quit, and it hurt my heart because my husband and I bought property in Valencia, Spain, and are building our dream food forest and life here. When you become a part of nature, you awaken from the delusion of the capitalistic world order and realize you have no power over the earth. You learn that there will be times when you succeed, such as planting a tree that will bear fruit the following year, and others when you fail. You also learn that even a native plant will dislike the location, and no matter what you do, it will not provide anything, and both are equally significant. You're realizing that you're now one with the creator, and "allowing" is the key to freedom. Never give up, but when you're frustrated with yourself, consider what higher intelligence wants you to take out from this. I'm sending you lots of love and happiness!

Yeah but you've got to keep in mind that in her succeeding at this, it's not just building and enjoying a food forest, she's documenting her life and that gets extremely tiring as well. Life was meant to be lived and this is a job, a lot of filming and video editing and doing the same things over and over and over. It can get as tiring as the so called capitalistic world order. It's not just living life but filming yourself living life. Eventually you need a break from everything.

The best time to plant fruit trees in a Mediterranean climate is in the fall /winter/spring for evergreens (citrus etc) and Dec/Jan/Feb for deciduous trees. They establish easier when it has been through a cooler rainy season. It is a stress for the trees to be transplanted in summer heat and you will also find more selections as well.

Living off grid is my dream, and you're living it. I'm Lebanese, and the baba ghanouj dish you made originates from my country. Seeing you make that from your garden is truly epic. Just a tip. Don't blend the eggplant into a very fine paste, keep it slightly pulpy and chunky. Also when serving drizzle some olive oil on the top of the dish. That with some spicy hot pepper powder, and using some nice peta bread as a food shovel .. and oh my lord.

Another beautiful video that points out that, sometimes, the most rewarding aspects of life are the ones that take the longest or the most effort. Mother Nature will work at her own time. There is a saying that "patience is a virtue" and that can certainly be the case when gardening. The weather extremes that we are seeing also can raise unexpected challenges along the way. I have found my two small organic gardens to be like laboratories where I can experiment with different plantings, soil mixtures, etc. Sometime it works well and I have a bountiful harvest of beans, cucumbers, or garlic. Other times, the plantings come up empty and I learn from what did not work.

I have learned so much from you and your online gardening guide!:) I am now not feeling discouraged when I have a failure in the garden, but I try to learn from the experience and do better next time. This year has been a strange one for growing in my region (Northeastern US), some things were a complete failure like cucumbers and squash, but some are doing quite well, like tomatoes and beans. It's all a big experiment for me every time and I try to enjoy the process and not get saddened by the setbacks. Hope all the trees you planted do well!💚💚💚

I for sure thought I'd have my trees in this past Spring, but it didn't happen for a few reasons, and I thought for sure I'd be more on top of the care of the garden, and that I'd have built a bench, a fence, painted this and that, etc. I want to be better at enjoying the journey. Love your videos so much, Eugenia. Swales are great way to naturally harvest rainfall so that it goes to your plants and not simply run off or evaporation. Permacuture allows you to also invite many young and willing workers who want to learn the techniques. In exchange for room and meals. Then the work goes easier and faster ;)

If I had the means to have or use a tractor with a bucket and all the other helps that cost a fortune, homesteading off the grid, with electricity besides, would be exciting. As it is, I really have had only my own two hands and strong body and I have done a pretty good job of making a kitchen garden and sustainable, wild life, insect and bird nature preserve of our acreage. I am now 75 years old. Homesteading is a young persons game, and, truth to tell today, a well--off person's game. Just look what it costs to have an electric line run, or to dig a well, or to have that sized compost or mulch delivered. Dreams are good. We want to do right by the planet, but that bag of compost came in plastic. Make your money first. Spain notwithstanding, you need to have means to play the off grid romance.

In a while after you have absorbed the lessons of your experiences you may be ready to try another adventure. Life at its best is a great adventure and our failures toughen us and prepare us for the future. Don't give up because that is the only way you can truly fail. Ok so I saw you crack those eggs 12:01 and all I could think of was you need chickens Eugenia 🥰 they are honestly much more easy to maintain then one would think they’re such little personalities and the gift of eggs that they give is such a blessing. I’m sure it’s something you had planned in the future but they really don’t need a whole lot to get them started and before you know it you’ll have your own eggs 🫶
