I actually really like Marc Merro/Johnny B. Badd. He was a great mid card wrestler that got everybody on their feet. He's an influencer speaker now, and I can't be anymore happier for him.
I know that music!!! Must be the opening to a 1994 WCW PPV!
Clash of the champions! The ORIGINAL televised PPV!
🤣🤣❤
Wooo!!!
You hear people talk so much trash about Marc Mero/Johnny B. Badd as a worker, which I don't think is fair. I actually think he was underrated as a worker. I'm not saying he was on the level of a Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, or Ric Flair, but he wasn't as terrible as people say he was.
WWE apparatchiks are instructed to talk shit about the man for speaking out against steroid abuse.
@@LarsOfTheMohicans Yes, I've heard that.
Marc was a great talent and the perfect hype guy for WCW (Which was likely why he started so many PPVs he knew how to get a crowd pumped, much like the Cruiserweights later) He's definitely an unsung talent of yesterday.
Man I so agree I was just thinking that, from he’s first matches to he’s match with Eddie Guerrero on nitro so much improvement another potential greats career ruined by the WWE machine and drugs! Marc is one heck of a man now I love he’s motivational talks
They should watch some 94 matches
I always thought they said "here comes Johnny B Badd he's a mean bad man he looks like little Richard wrestles like Tom Pritchard"
I just spit out my drink laughing at this. Hahahahahaha
That match between Eddie and him was a good match
That man and his entire ring gear set........So Pretty!
Folks still don't understand...wrestling at its best is like a movie or TV production. Everyone can't be the lead, but not just the stars get billing at the beginning. Marc Mero seemed to understand you can be a star without having to be THE STAR and went out and performed to the best of his abilities. Always enjoyed watching him. It's wild how guys like him get slandered and other guys who gave you the same McWrestling get praised (and no, not talking about Hogan...he's FAR FROM THE ONLY GUY).
opened every ppv with a dynamite match no matter who with. Johnny B was a Baaaaaadd man! Does anyone know if this theme was one of the ones Jimmy Hart produced? I know he did most of WCW's music.
Great wrestler.Who was a real athlete/boxer.You have to be very tough to box.
One of most underrated wrestlers ever imo
He’s Like The Little Richard of Wrestling
This has a "Dukes of Hazzard" feel to it.
Johnny b badd theme hits my soul bro
Damn Marc really looks like Little Richard.
Rootin tootin mad.
Johnny B Badd gets unfairly shit on in history. I find his shit entertaining. He's not the greatest, but very underrated.
Former intercontinental champion Johnny b bad aka Marc mero
And former WCW World Television Champion!
That left hook
This is catcher than it has any right to be
Literally called "Here Comes Johnny B. Badd" from WCW Sl Jam Vol. 1 (there was no volume 2), it was written by Jimmy Papa, D. conort, and Michael P.S. Hayes, and was released in 1992, before Jimmy Hart went to WCW.
I thought wcw did a much better job with him than wwf
They did the reaction he gets from fans each time, he has personality charisma talented wrestler super over
Sable ruined his career
she was nothing more than an opportunist who slept her way to the top.
@@Machete87 hell yeah, but it was Marc's fault she got hired so they dont sit separated too long
@@phenomenalone7134 I've always heard that Marc agreed to let Sable come with him to the WWF because Vince wanted her to come with him.
@@BravesAvsFan ive also heard that mero actually wanted for sable to come in so they can spend more time together
@@phenomenalone7134 Well, she was his wife at the time, so that kinda makes sense.
Status Quo - Carol. That's what this is.
Little Richard gimmick 🤣🤣
I liked Johnny B Badd
He also gave us Sable
I heard that to this day that he do.
Hoot and toot Guerrero
n sabia q o Marc Mero tinha passado pela WCW
Sim, muito antes da WWF/E.
Ele estreou em 1991 para a WCW e depois saiu em 1996 para a WWE.
I miss the gimmicks
Who is the guy in the red/white pants getting sunset flipped at 1:44?
Jimmy Garvin during his one night return at Superbrawl or Slamboree 1994
@@wrestlingstuffv2 Wow! I would have never guessed. I checked - it was Superbrawl IV. He subbed for Michael Hayes.
@@gshort78 You should see the match, not just because it is cool, but because of Michael Hayes' funny interactions on camera LOL. Also, Garvin hit a STUNNER post match, saying Johnny B. "just experienced 911".
@@wrestlingstuffv2 I will check it out. I'm a Johnny B Badd and a Jimmy Garvin mark. Garvin's 90s stuff is weak though, but this sounds cool. Thanks!
Damn what’s sad is that in some of these clips he’s doing moves on a future Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Oh hush...
Diamond Dallas Page as well
Why does this sound like dustins theme lol
@@Greenbeans0987 Because Darwin Conort sings both songs.
This is the equivalent of blackface. It's pretty racist stuff.
Dude is literally black but okay.
No he isn't, you mook. He's an incredibly tanned white dude. They didn't bring race into it at all.
According to Mero, Little Richard thought it was hilarious
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I believe he really enjoyed the Johnny B. Badd character. He would say about me, “He’s not as pretty as me!”
Are you saying a white guy can't naturally get dark?
I thought he was black.
