Because, Moazzam has conducted your interview and portray you as an Abdul Sattar Edhi. He didn't counter your answers and didn't show the basic journalism ethics & rules. I am not judgmental or portraying you as a criminal but there are many loopholes on your interview. Journalist role is to be impartial and ask bitter questions and let it in front of the people and they are the best thinker to comment on your thoughts and views. Put aside the hero or criminal debate. Why dont you clarify all the others' questions raised in this video? Maybe start with, how come you weren't deported back to Pakistan since you were there illegally? How come the police never investigated you and raised the issue of you being an illegal in their country? How come the court never asked for your identity while you were literally standing in a courtroom? Secondly, how can you go grocery shopping while you were in prison in Sweden? Also, clarify, was it Sweden or Sudan because Muazzam in this video is saying "Sudan".

I thoroughly enjoyed Faridi's life story but I took his statements with a pinch of salt. I think 50% of his stories may be exaggerated. But I didn't take it seriously. Just enjoyed the show. He is neither a hero for me nor a villain. Just a character.

I am an overseas Pakistani from the last 25 years - with all due respect this host is extremely pathetic- this guy is saying in American criminal courts will enquire about Kamran Faridi’s legal status in US first… bhai you have a lawyer who is representing your case and the US courts do not waste time about asking irrelevant questions they remain focus on relevance material which is the particular case… pretty much all the concerns raised by the host in this podcast are baseless and shambolic in approach..
Then why illegal immigrants hide from US authorities and don't revel themselves? America is not a banana republic, if you go to their courts, it's obvious that they will first inquire about your legal status in their country. Even in a third world country like Pakistan, you cannot just make an FIR of something without having CNIC.

I believe Kamran Fairidi's biggest mistake in his story is that, while he used untraceable mobile phones to pass information to Motiwala, he didn't use the same method to communicate with Pakistan. Instead, he relied on the FBI for this purpose. He just made this to make himself a hero in Pakistan as he is returning here in Pakistan.

In American court - A Judge would not ask questions about immigration - unless ICE(USCIS) files charges against him for illegal presentation and then proceeds for deportation - for that - they have to go to a different court - From the USA

Post 9-11 USA was very different from pre 9-11. FBI was moving with impunity, and any assets such as Kamran were godsend to FBI. In the real world, these idealistic concepts or right and wrong don't exist.

Faridi wanted to get viral quickly so he picked the channel that's got most views and carers to the genre. Faridi also, wanted to safe guard himself so that he isn't shot down as he lands. This story raises a lot of questions. Who’d confirm what kamran said he did actually happened? All this makes for an interesting read or desi movie at best.
