I find that line incredibly interesting. Almost presents the same theme throughout the quote. Malak tells him that he is good (savior, hero) and bad (conqueror, villain) saying he is all things, yet nothing. He belongs to neither the light or dark, and all that, and ends it with almost a depressing line, "You will forever stand alone." He notes Revan is all things, the good and bad at once, and ends it with a line that can be taken both ways. Saying he stands alone can be taken in a way that says he is his own, belonging to no one, or it can be taken like it means that he is abandoned, by himself. That whole line, every word of it, symbolizes how he is good and bad, he is both sides at once, yet neither of them.

This theme really hit hard when you first started up KotOR. I remember thinking "this is way too epic for level 1 music", but damn it really set the tone for the odessy that was this masterpiece of a game.

The plot of KOTOR 1 was basically how you said it. A villain coming to save the day. Or to be more specific, a Sith Lord-turned-Jedi Knight coming to save the galaxy (And his girl Bastilla) from Darth Malak.
And that villain is me
Probably a bit like how Bastilla felt when she first saw Revan pull a saber after reawakening. Hope that he'd be healed and sheer terror at the possibility that he didn't.

Considering bane inherited the rule of two from revan's teachings, he is THE sith lord. Every single sith we sene from this moment on carries his legacy.

He is the only Jedi and Sith that got it right before Anakin and Luke. The Force is neither dark nor light, just as no person has solely evil or good in them. To perfect the force one must know and balance both sides and finally, use it for good.

The Sacking of Coruscant was an amazing military move by Emperor Vitiate, even if it was a desperate move. The whole cinematic that takes place during the attack on the Jedi Temple, with Malgus and Adraas, was really cool.
Don't forget about Shae Vizsla, Grand Moff Kilran and Darth Angral.
If not for Vitiate and his selfish plans, the Republic would fall that day.

Before I begin I would like to complement Sir Samuel Kim for his ever masterfully crafted soundtrack.
Ever since the first day I played Knights of the Old Republic, and eventually its subsequent sequels, Revan became my all time favorite Star Wars character even to this day. I was disappointed on how he was treated in SWTOR but nonetheless I could accept it.

@@yanivgalmor1747 yes he did. the line I commented was a thousand years after he did it. and the reason Malgus said that was because after the sith academy was purged jedi took over the world which made the remaining sith in the galaxy want to take it back. as it was the ancestral home of the Sith.

This is the real empire, not little Palps who only lasted 23 years. So many of our empires want to rule for a thousand years and the Sith empire succeeded.

The ‘Sith Empire’ never was as big as the
Empire even if it lasted much longer, it was only controlling a small part of the outer rim... mostly hiding whilst the Jedi were the ones in power. The Empire actually took the inner rim and controlled practically the entire galaxy and caused the extinction of the pure jedi order. Sidious basically accomplished what Sith have been trying to do for 4000+ years in 70 years.
@@butterbean8881 Triumvirate basically wiped out pure jedi order, so Meetra had to literally rebuild it from scratch ^__^
And since Darth Bane took Revan's teachings to heart... Basically, Revan had his hand in wiping out Jedi order twice.

Once more the Sith shall rule the galaxy, and we shall have peace.
I used to listen to the original theme on loop while studying, and it overwhelmed me with the beauty and nostalgia. This new version is just overwhelming. When it launches into the main motif with a crash it just makes the heart surge. I played KOTOR at least a dozen times, and at a certain point the characters and the world become a lot more than just the dated pixels on screen. Music like this shows you the devastating passion of a tragic love story--it's immortal, so much more than the game they created nearly two decades ago.
