Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

I freaking love that Peter Buck arpeggiated sound!
Boxcars, or, Gardening at Night are also great off of this first album by REM, their EP Chronic Town. I heard this on the local College radio station and we all immediately ran out and bought it and played it all the time. It just sounded so new at the time, although the 12-string guitar was hauntingly reminiscent of the Byrds from the late 60s and early 70s.
Love his style of lyrical writing, it definitely gives you feelings and images, but by not spelling out every detail, it gives it such a profound effect, much like Impressionism in painting.
Technically not an album.
My favorite off Chronic Town is Stumble
Sometimes I listen to Chronic Town and it puts me in the mood to listen to Murmur. Then Reckoning. Then Fables of the Reconstruction. Then Lifes Rich Pageant. Then Document. And then sometimes maybe Green and Out of Time. 😁
Been a day since I heard this one (though I have it on vinyl since about ‘83 or so). Definitely their era where you’d need the sleeve lyrics!

This is off there E.P album so even before there 1st proper album release of Murmur.

REM was my favorite band circa 1984 saw them live several times even got to take Michael Stipe out to dinner!

Saw them on the murmur tour in Bloomington indiana, 1982..
Saw them at the Nassau Coliseum in 1982. It was the Chronic Town tour. Murmur wasn't released until 1983
