What a fun project! Yes, for the free finds and diy on a budget. I’m hoping to do a pallet project before the summer is out. We have one that I’d like to decorate to camouflage our garbage cans on the side of the house.
If I were you, I would use the garage wall as a screen for movie night, paint it a good white paint as background, it would be a great addition for family night

Love what your doing so far. I thought about painting flowers or some type of backdrop on the wall of the garage. Ex. Beach, sky with clouds birds etc. or a forest etc.

Now use some weather treated plywood to cover it then add outdoors turf on it. Keep in mind wood draw insets and rodents you must keep that area treated at all times. Add patio chairs and you could add 6 wooden post to screen it off.
