New and improved character facial design for Mandy here from the first handfull of Lulus, but what she's given to do here is more problematic than in the earlier shorts (i.e., in the earlier ones the character design is worse but Mandy's obviously the adult in charge of the situation; here, we're into the old "afraid of ghosts" stereotype that makes the adult look childish while Lulu ends up as the one in charge).
Lulu is just adorable. :3
koopa poopypanya I know! 😄
Casper, if you in that one, you'll make friends with Lulu.
This is an early Halloween cartoon because it was released on September 29, 1944.
These ghosts are already long dead and they're still hungry?! :)
She's a smart girl! Thanks!
Wait! A cartoon girl with some mischief?
I can see why this episode wasn't aired at times because of Mimi aka Racist stereo trope
You're no lion...
It’s no excuse for depriving us baby boomers of our memories! Besides, I LIKE mammy characters like her.
5:45 I love this part. ❤❤❤
Best cartoon I ever saw.

Those ghosts looks a lot like the Lonesome Ghosts.
No wonder this cartoon hasn’t been on TV 📺 because of Mimi.

7:02 Aww 😢

I do like lulu, but I must point out that those ghosts are copyrighted from Disney.
Tomboys are the greatest people!

How can ghosts eat food they're dead for crying out loud!!
Is it wrong of me to say, “Have you ever heard of suspension of disbelief?”
I don't remember if I heard that phrase. And yes, I should be aware that it's a cartoon and logic doesn't have to make sense like in videogames.
