    Nopal cactus tastes very good pickled but I never thought about using it for anything else, brilliant! Thanks for sharing! Shalom from Arizona

    Does anyone know the proportions for this recipe? I saw: 1 bucket of horse manure, 1 big pot of nopal juice, 1 big pot of wheatpaste but dont know how much earth and sand in proportion to all this.

    What happens to the spikes you scrape off? Do they stay sharp spines hidden in the dirt there??
