This feels a little bit overproduced.
Not really? The instruments sound un-EQed for the most part and I'm not really hearing any compression or automation to speak of. On top of that there doesn't seem to be any normalization on the mix.
What are you referring to exactly?
@@RoanAudioWorks It just sounds too perfect. It's pretty clear that this is not a live version of the song, it's more like a music video and personally I don't like that approach. I'd rather hear him play this live and hear some imperfections. That would make this song actually "human" and not computer-like or overproduced.
@@marcink6879 oh yeah, I don't think it's live, there are instruments playing that he's not got hands on in the video.
Sorry about that, "overproduced" in my mind conjures thoughts about a music track that every single note has been analyzed and tweak for max commercial appeal.

That makes him a producer, and a decent one I guess, but to me a band is supposed to play live instruments with a little aid of loops and backgrounds. Why is he trying to show that he's playing all instruments all at once, even though it's impossible? :)
