The thing I love most about this fanmade video is that it seamlessly filled in the missing gaps between the Yoda and Sidious fight and showed the full duel in it's uncut glory!
1:19 This beginning scene here is part of the cancelled Clone Wars Utapau arc, which is one out of 10 total arcs which Disney sadly cancelled when they decided to cancel the clone wars show after taking over star wars in 2013. You can still watch the full unfinished Utapau arc, alongside some of the other 9 unfinished arcs in their unfinished form on YT I think. These are the actual clone wars voice actors doing the voice over here since the voice overs were finished before the story arcs were cancelled. It's cool they brought the scene back for this fan-film.
So glad you found this, shout out to the animator been following his updates for like 3 years and he did not disappoint. I kinda personally prefer more Matt Lanter angry Anakin voice.
It's crazy that most people don't know about the ''Padmé, help me'' line, even I just learned of it not long ago and I'm a pretty big nerd for everything SW. It's a heart wrenching detail, I wish more people knew. Alyce if you read this, play back just before the Vader mask is installed over his face, turn up your volume and listen just when it covers him up.
You know that intro campfire scene is from an unfinished clone wars arc. They released the rough animated episodes a while ago, you can find them here. Crystal Crisis on Utapau
4:12-4:23 That exchange along with most of the dialogue in this fan film comes from "LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga", which had Matt Lanter and James Arnold Taylor reprise their roles as Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi respectively. Without a doubt, this is my #1 favorite Star Wars fan film. The Obi-Wan vs Anakin duel on Mustafar from ROTS is my #1 favorite lightsaber duel in the entire franchise, so seeing it in TCW animation was a dream come true. I'm really glad you finally reacted to this, Alyska.
The Clone Wars series always gave me hope that Anakin could be redeemed... saved from the darkness. We saw more to his relationship with Obi-Wan... we added Ahsoka and Rex into the equation... I always hoped he could have been saved. So the emotional part for me in this fan video - I agree - it's more intense. Because we better understand Anakin's pain. It was an amazing piece of work, for sure!
Even after 7 years, I, too, held that hope that Anakin's would be different. Especially after going to the planet of the Ones. But, I guess it was always meant to be...
I bet most people don't notice that the imperial officers that were in the ship towards the end when Vader and Palpatine were looking at the construction of the Death Star were changed into clones in this fan animation.
Btw, the reason for some bits being added to the fight is because there are no cutaways like there was in the movie. Remember the movie would be cutting between this fight and the Yoda vs Sidious fight. So to fill that dead time they added some extra fight scenes.
I remember watching this video and it was absolute perfection!!! I’m so glad that you finally watched it! Btw I miss your reactions to Bad Batch and I was wondering if you plan of finishing the rest of season 2, especially with the recent announcement of the series finale.
Oh that behind the back spin that Anakin did wasn't just done in animation. It was actually done in the movie too, and they had even crazier choreography in the movies.
Love your reaction to the epic battle between the GOATS of Star Wars in Clone Wars style. The guy who made this fan made animation put all effort into this ever since 2020. Props to him. Loved and enjoyed everything in the fan film
It’s absolutely crazy that fans have the technology to do this. I’m so excited for the future and honestly i’m jelous of what the next generation will get to experience.
That was incredible!! The artist(s) have a bright future ahead. Hearing Vader’s breathing at the end is so very sad, as opposed to menacing in any other context 😭
Legendary Right! Restored The Clone War's deleted scene, Added Matt Lanter and James Arnold Taylor voices along Hayden and Ewan, And Adding The Nick Gillard Extra Disarm Move And Reverse grip from The fight that was taken out!☯️⚔️🔥🌋
Anakin wasn't talking about Ahsoka failing. He was referring more to himself rather than Ahsoka. He feels like he failed as a master when it was the hypocrisy of the council. It's no wonder he was willing to turn on them after they screwed him and Ahsoka over in the clone wars.
I think the part I like best about this, is that when he arrives on Mustafar, Emperor Palpatine says nothing. Anakin looks up at him and bows his head in a mix of pain and shame. Darth Sidious says nothing, you can almost feel his anger and disappointment in Vader.
I have always said Alyska. that Dave should try doing all of the movies except the sequels in Clone Wars style animation, it might actually help get SOME credibility back into Disney Star Wars.
Nice reaction and for once I quite enjoy this animation clone wars not only was it great but it was awesome, epic and groundbreaking at the same time 😀👍🏾😎👍🏾😀
Hey Alyska, have you given any thought to reacting to the coming live action adaptation of ATLA? Also, I often wonder about what reactors like you would watch growing up.
Have you ever watched Epic Rap Battles of History? They are super funny but I think you'd especially like the Luke Skywalker vs Harry Potter episode lol. Side note: We all hate how Padme went out, but there is a theory (might be a fan theory, I'm not sure) that what actually happened, was that while Anakin was getting put into the Vader suit, Palpatine siphoned off Padme's life force to channel it into Anakin to keep him alive for the procedure. It even makes sense... from what I know of one of the books, it was Palpatine assisting his then Master, Pelagius (sp?) in perverting the Force that caused Anakin to be born in the first place, to balance the perversion.
I don't remember that conversation between Anakin and Obi-Wan at the start of the video. Was that from the Clone Wars series or created for this video?
It was from an unfinished CW episode from just before Disney cancelled it. The rough animation though for that scene was already done (but unfinished obviously) so they just took the unfinished scene and finished it for this film. There's also plenty of other unfinished CW episodes you can find that weren't adapted. Some episodes were adapted in CW S7 when Disney brought the series back but many episodes weren't finished.
This was amazing as others have said below. So finely tuned to be Clone Wars. I hope when Feloni saw this version, he reached out and tipped his cowboy hat. :) Are you going to reach to the Bad Batch trailer? That too was pretty cool. :)
Whilst its amazing that someone did this, I dont find the fight is as good in animation. The movement of characters is not as good and you don't get the same emotion as real life actors
This is better than everything Disney has released. This is what fans want not shitty Disney+ shows. Why can't Disney just do something right for once?
Glad the ultimate lightsaber duel was FINALLY remade in The Clone Wars! This is the moment that every Star Wars fan was BEGGING to witness!
The thing I love most about this fanmade video is that it seamlessly filled in the missing gaps between the Yoda and Sidious fight and showed the full duel in it's uncut glory!
“How would you sleep knowing I failed you”
“Not very well, I imagine”
And in kenobi he can’t sleep without nightmares

When Alyce is so stunned that she forgets to react, you know it's a good show! Glad to see you back!
4:14 this dialogue is from the Lego Skywalker Saga game and also from the Episode III novelization

This was excellent fan film. The creators should be highly proud
3:44 All these moves were in the movie too btw.
6:10 in the Episode III deleted scenes this moment her was also further extended that it ended up being here and in the movie btw
I bet most people don't notice that the imperial officers that were in the ship towards the end when Vader and Palpatine were looking at the construction of the Death Star were changed into clones in this fan animation.
this clone wars animation was badass. thanks for reacting to this content. you are so beautiful.
The Clone Wars series certainly added emotional depth to the Prequels and rounded out Anakin's journey quite well so when he falls we really feel it.
Btw, the reason for some bits being added to the fight is because there are no cutaways like there was in the movie. Remember the movie would be cutting between this fight and the Yoda vs Sidious fight. So to fill that dead time they added some extra fight scenes.

This is insane how this was pulled off, enjoyed your reaction to it.
3:57 this is part of a deleted scene from Episode III when Anakin fights Dooku which can be seen on RUclips
It’s absolutely crazy that fans have the technology to do this. I’m so excited for the future and honestly i’m jelous of what the next generation will get to experience.
Ahsoka is a show I miss. It was really good. Can’t wait for season 2
Thank God it got renewed!
5:54 this is part of a deleted scene from Episode III from their fight
The animation is incredible
This is exactly what I was hoping to see. This creation is a masterpiece
That was incredible!! The artist(s) have a bright future ahead.
Hearing Vader’s breathing at the end is so very sad, as opposed to menacing in any other context 😭
Your Star Wars reactions are my favorite of all.❤
Legendary Right! Restored The Clone War's deleted scene, Added Matt Lanter and James Arnold Taylor voices along Hayden and Ewan, And Adding The Nick Gillard Extra Disarm Move And Reverse grip from The fight that was taken out!☯️⚔️🔥🌋
ooo this is sooo well done!!! great reaction as always!!!
Fun reaction! Loved seeing how engrossed you were with the whole thing. :' )
5:32 is when the oven was turned on 😂
Are you going to continue reacting to the Bad Batch? The new season comes out next month.
I'm sure she is. Also, it's the final season.
Always a pleasure to see you in my feed.

Did anybody else want the birthing droid to say “Ooo-ba, Ooo-ba” 😅
Even though this if great nothing can ever beat the actual fight with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen
Bad batch trailer!
Nice reaction and for once I quite enjoy this animation clone wars not only was it great but it was awesome, epic and groundbreaking at the same time 😀👍🏾😎👍🏾😀
She walked away when he needed her the most and he was there when she was getting hunted down just show you again men more loyal to women 🤣🤣
Hey Alyska, have you given any thought to reacting to the coming live action adaptation of ATLA? Also, I often wonder about what reactors like you would watch growing up.
Nicely done fan film

You might want to react to the new bad batch trailer. There's a character in there you might recognize.
P.S. also, maybe the avatar trailer as well. Appa is back.
This was amazing as others have said below. So finely tuned to be Clone Wars. I hope when Feloni saw this version, he reached out and tipped his cowboy hat. :) Are you going to reach to the Bad Batch trailer? That too was pretty cool. :)
There are some things I liked better in live action and some things they did really well in this fan version.
You need to watch the bad batch trailer
What's up Alyska?? You should check out our newly released Jedi Survivor film "Kestis: A Jedi Survivor Story!"
yayyy I was wondering if you're going to react to it or if you just watched if offline :D 🙌🙌
Anakin is scary
Wow I love this 🎉🎉🎉
Awesome💯💯🇬🇧🇬🇧
