There were two iron workers in that photo
Why only name one and not find out who the Canadian iron worker is?

I agree and would like to know who our Canadian iron worker was as well but do get it this is an American station so their focus is on the US. I've searched and can't find Canadian news report that mentions any names at all. Congratulations to all for the accomplishment

The Canadian looks like a hobo and unkempt... Not a great look for an iconic photo

Even after saying it's iconic image no mention of the Canadian? We did pay for the bridge.

I’m guessing you need to bring your passport everyday when working on the bridge

Nothing else matters. Well only the fact that it's named after Mr. Hockey.

Project started in 2018 and won’t be open to sept 2025 . Can’t be finished fast enough , much needed for truck crossing

Yup can't wait. Disappointed in the over run in budget on this project, and huge turnover in the management was not a good look

Bridging North America connected the bridge before sunrise so I wouldn’t get drone video of it. So selfish.

Placed the last piece at night so none of the drone operators would not get the shot and that all the people who faithfully watched the construction from start to finish at Del Ray Park could be denied the opportunity, too. Classy move Bridge Authority.

They may have chose a time when there was no wind. Timing was the same when lifting a church steeple recently
