Every time I come across this I have to watch it. The smile at the end says it all! I lived in Steamboat for a couple of years back in the mid 80s. Some of the best years of my life without question.
I can't stop watching this video. I'll be attending Colorado Mountain College this fall in Steamboat and this just gets me hyped for my upcoming snowboard season.

Had a run like this during the January 96 down Rolex….we were disappearing it was so deep…I was on a snowboard and was getting low on the board and actually going completely under the snow…craziest thing I’ve experienced

That's not how I remember skiing Rolex on a powder day..... we had 20 inches but that much snow still did not fill up the bumps the size of vw beetles..... it was a brutal beating... blind brutal beating

Mate I was there in 04-05 and 98-99. Worked in the KVC. We never had a powder day quite like that. So jealous!
