I have a headcanon for if Jim becomes the enemy in RM: So you know how at the end of Jim's Computer, he commits sudoku by shooting himself? The gun is aimed towards his mouth, depending on the caliber of the bullet, that could split his jaw. The gun (most likely being 9mm or 45.) had probably just enough power at point blank to do serious damage to his jaw, then penetrating to his brain, killing him instantly. The RM enemy could most likely be the aftermath of the creature breaking in. Then again, I'm pretty sure Jim was having a psychotic episode in the actual game, and there was no creature. Edit: Wrote this after drinking cough medicine, so just some grammar errors
